  • Jamey Johnson performs "High Cost of Living" live at the Farm Aid concert in Mansfield, Massachusetts on September 20, 2008. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

    Farm Aid's performances are donated by the artists in order to raise funds and raise awareness for family farmers. They've raised their voices to help - what can you do?

      Yeah, this is one of them that hits the heart hard....."I didn't have to think or talk or feel"
      "I couldn't even tell I was alive"
      Those lines ring true and close to home..

      Many Thanks for the info Steven. He does resemble Donnie? Right?

    • @stevenmurray1987
      @stevenmurray1987 8 лет назад +1

      lol yeah I suppose. He is a treat to listen to live. They crank him way up as opposed to most steel guitar being more "background" noise. Eddie Long was Hank Jr's steel player back when he was big, The "Bama Boys". I enjoy hearing him play just as much as hearing Jamey.
