  • After I made it clear to my wife that I was not okay with them referring to each other as a couple, they doubled down, and I found out there was more to the story.

Gents, take note. This is how to handle a woman's disrespect towards you 👍

Man I like this story. OP is a boss, he followed his gut and he found out the truth. Even if they didn't do anything "physical" she still had an emotional affair with her boss and also, that prenup infidelity clause was a good add on.

That was actually a good story. Wish he would have talked a little bit more on what happened during and right after the divorce…..

It was just a matter of time. She was sliding down the slide and could not stop.

She was on her way, already invested in a emotional relationship. Im starting to wonder if most women arent cheating be it emotional or physical. Social media will be the downfall of marriages as we know it.

I thought husband was over reacting but I admire his Self Respect.

He threw away what... _he_ ...actually described as a good marriage. She DIDN'T cheat. Did she do anything at all wrong. Sure. She could/should have been MUCH firmer with her jerk boss. But to offer no forgiveness at all while it was clear she deeply regretted all that had transpired, begged his forgiveness and it was clear (to me) she very much loved him. Pretty heartless and even self-centered on his part.

I Don't admire his "self-respect." It's more like self-pity, selfishness. This woman did NOT cheat. She wrongly allowed the boss's inappropriate comments to her. So she was not perfect. He isn't either. Stone hearted. She clearly loved him and begged his forgiveness for what amounts to something significantly less than "cheating." Threw away a decades long and good marriage. Don't like or approve of him.

Wow, lots of respect for Op. No BS-ing around, let wife know where he stood on cheating. CEO Bob is a pri*k, and had the wife cheated with him, I am guessing he is the type who would've used her, then dropped her. I kind of wish the story would've continued, to see how Op's life and his ex's life ended up.

Sure the "boss" was a jerk (nice euphemism for what he really was)...but so is the author of this story. What he PROVED...was that she DIDN'T cheat. She was very wrong to not be much firmer with the jerk boss and see to it that his comments to her were cut off. To her credit, actually, she DID, in fact NOT surrender to temptation but maintained her integrity in the end. NO HUMAN BEING IS PERFECT AND **DOES** PERFECT. And at ALL times. She clearly loved her husband very much, begged his forgiveness, and deeply desired it. BUT NOTHING MOVES THIS GUY. His total desire is to end a decades old marriage and what looks to me to be a very good one. I don't like this guy. And he's not someone I would want a daughter to marry. An above average wage earner is not the be-all-and-end-all of a good marriage. A stone-hearted man is no prize. I think this guy's selfishness is revealed in his casually dismissing the fact that he could never have children. This would be absolutely devastating to a loving soul. Not this guy, just means more cruises and creature comforts for him to wallow in. Yea...really have no use for him.
