I was thinking the same thing. There had to be more to it than them doing it that one time. Op handled it well when she was describing how her and AP went at it. I would've lost it, kicked her out then and there. And Romeo AP gets away with it, other than his wife divorcing him, of course.
OP did it right, as soon as it became clear that she had cheated, and his youngest wasn't his biologically, he didn't just blow up the family immediately. From that point she just became like another piece of furniture, except for a few time when she was no more than a FWB. As soon as the youngest left for college, he blew up her dream that things would be "Normal" again. Then he moved on with a younger woman, and did better without her, the ultimate revenge.
Another good man hurt, betrayed and broken, and a family destroyed by a lying cheating witch for no reason at all other than just being selfish and stupid. OP was just solid given the situation and circumstances. Very few can do what he did despite the unimaginable hurt and pain he must be in. Did everything right by his children even the one that's not his and even by his cheating sl*t of a wife whom he treated as best as he possibly can muster with all the turmoil and chaos going in his mind and heart. Best of all, OP came out of it whole, a little bit broken but still with something to look forward to in the future.
I'm not sure I could have done what he did at the time I found out , but it worked for him , at least he did the legal separation thing early on , yes 1 time , no matter how brief , is cause for divorce , how some of these morons stay with someone who had months or years long affairs years is beyond me no matter the circumstances
The guy's in for a rude awakening if he thinks the new woman is going to be worth a damn. She was okay being the mistress to a married man she was sharing with his unfaithful wife. Just because he had proof they were "legally" separated, they were still co-habituating and sleeping together. If this was a real story, California law would have declared the separation thrown out for reconciliation due to them still fornicating. Intimacy is recognized as an act of reconciliation, especially in a Liberal no fault state like Cali. But as usual, most of these stories are fictional you find on these relationship channels and splattered all over reddit.
Not a doormat, he didn't grovel at her feet, he stayed for the kids, and blew up her dreams as soon as the last one was out of the house. A real man doesn't abandon his children, even those that he raised, unknowingly, that weren't his. He moved on, and got the best revenge by doing much better without his ex.
I will admit the way the story started and thought it was another doormat story Listened to two before this on After your comment I listened to the hole thing and you are correct
Cheating wives are only sorry that they got caught. End of discussion!
OP is all about playing the long game.
DNA testing should be mandatory at birth…
It would save a lot of late life distress..
That DNA testing will get you every time. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Immaculate conception! It's a miracle baby😂
Nobody would think it was botched .
Probably not, but many people would hope it is. Sad.
I very much doubt the "New Years mistake" was the entire story. But some things are better left unknown.
