Nice jig 👍 You don't really need the second leg of the jig, for the first cut just put the wood being cut to the opposite side of the leg with the clamp!
Thank you for the wishes :) You can cut the rabbet before you miter the wood strips. And you can place the rabbet on the frames of the jig to lock it down.
