    I'm 64 years old and I saw Rock City when I was ten. I am eagerly waiting for next year when I am planning on going back there next year and taking my son.

    You got to see Rock City without a big group. Then you can enjoy it at your own pace. We let many people pass us up on trail so we could admire the sights & sounds at our pace.

    Nothing like actually being there in person. I went as a kid and never forgot it 20 years later.

      💯 Yeah thankfully they had that other non-shaky bridge as well.

    Was the singing gnome animatronic at the entrance still there? I can’t seem to find it in anything I’ve looked up about Rock City recently.

      If you go at a leisurely pace, 2 hours is probably good

    Are there alternative routes where there's a tight squeeze???

    • @TravelTouristVideos
      @TravelTouristVideos  4 года назад +1

      I don't believe so. I imagine you could do a fast hike through it.

      Yes, there is a straight shot to the See Seven States area that bypasses the narrow spots (and most of the gardens).

    I'm actually looking for a place to go for a day and dig for.gem stones locally. I was hoping that this would be such place. It appears as tho it more than likely is not

      Okay thank you! Arkansas is where I've heard of being able to go do that. Wish I'd have gone when I was in IA.. It was only 4 hours away

    Do you have to to get on the bridge?

    • @TravelTouristVideos
      @TravelTouristVideos  4 года назад +2

      I believe so, but you can go on either the suspension bridge or the regular rock bridge.

    • @XxMsPancakesxX
      @XxMsPancakesxX 4 года назад +2

      There are two different bridges you can go on, a rock bridge and the swinging bridge ☺️ but you not forced to go on either, you can get off the trail at anytime you like at the few bypass sections

      It’s totally worth the hour and a half drive! We are in Atlanta and just went today! It’s stunningly beautiful!
