I even visited the team 10 house when I went on a trip to LA with my family (which I want to shoot myself for). And after I learned about all of the members perspectives, allegations against him, and the douchebaggery of Jake towards human beings altogether, the pieces were finally coming together that I was being hypnotized into this sad manipulative rabbit hole that I had to get myself out of before I dug more. I haven’t looked back since. If I had the technology to go back in time to assassinate myself during that time, I’d do it in a heartbeat… Edit: Btw, the “assassinating myself” bit was just for sarcasm for the cringe I felt for myself back then lmao. Cancel culture really only works on people with a conscious. If you have no conscious or even like being cancelled because it will provide publicity, then it will not affect you. You can have RUclipsrs who openly support bigotry, and they'll be fine. Also a very respectful way of covering their abuse, thank you for giving their stories a good amount of time in the story of jake and Logan as a whole. I think some people could consider these types of videos trashy fun content, and some in the genre are, but I appreciate you giving this topic the severity it deserves. These women deserve our respect and I’m happy to see you modeling the good behavior the Pauls never did that lead to them being harassed.
The saddest part about the Justine Paradise situation for me was all the little girls who were Jake Paul fans who came out to blindly defend him without knowing shit about the world yet. I wonder how they're going to feel if/when SA happens to them (statistically it's inevitable that some of them will experience it) and they're also not believed and bullied and mocked for telling others what happened to them.
Ironically contracts signed by minors aren't legally binding thanks to the infancy doctrine, but I don't doubt he found ways to manipulate the kids/complete the contract. Especially with the gross way he took advantage of the twins through their visas.
Our youngest daughter went behind our back and bought a cell phone and a cell plan from Walmart when we took her phone away from her as a punishment. Unfortunately, she left the instructions on the counter when she was setting it up in the bathroom and we caught wind. Mum marched her back to Walmart and advised them to return all her money and cancel the illegitimate contract. She was only 16 at the time.

I'm genuinely surprised videos on these two weren't significantly longer. They've been around the internet and a main subject of complaint from other youtubers for so many years, I'm shocked there wasn't more to say. And I STILL learned of so many awful things they did I knew nothing about.
Social media personalities like Jake make me scared to have kids. Because they'll be exposed to people like him if they have any access to the internet. I don't know how you monitor what they see these days without completely removing them from technology and any friends that can get them access as well. But the behaviors and "pranks" treated as normal really terrify me if a kid thinks those are acceptable actions.
dont let them do shit completely unmonitored. don't go all helicopter on them, but make sure they aren't watching this shit. you can't stop them from seeing all of it, but at the very least you'll know that they're watching it and you can guide them through it. tell them how awful it is, and show them something a little more enriching. as in, almost anything else. ensure they don't get sucked in, that's the most you can do without keeping them largely offline. As a kid i didn't really use the internet or watch youtube, which i think was a solid move, really. i had access to a bunch of games, even from a young age, but i understood i shouldn't play some of them because it could give me nightmares and such. I did a lot of Starcraft, played on the PS2, stuff my parents got when they were kids. admittedly, i've always been perceptive, but you can still keep your kid safe as long as you're checking in on them. you don't need to obsessively monitor their behavior, but don't leave them unobserved either. Make sure you know at least the generalities of what they're doing. make sure they know it's not that they can't be trusted, it's that not all people online can be trusted, that sort of thing. make sure the child is cautious. not necessarily apprehensive or on edge, but aware of the bad shit that can go on.

What's interesting is that Logan at least has something of value he sometimes does and could do without being a POS. He's a gifted athlete. He could have just went that avenue and actually been a benefit to culture. But the thing with people like him and Jake is that as humans they are rotten to the core. I feel like by "Training to be a Navy SEAL", what Jake *really* meant is he was talking to a Navy recruiter for a couple days or started upping his exercise for a bit. You don't just get into SEAL training, you already have to be in the Navy in order to apply.

I honestly feel horrible for both of them but especially Justine, like imagine having someone violate your boundaries and assault you against your will then having their fans tell you to commit suicide and threatening to hurt you. I can’t imagine the toll it took on her psychological wellbeing. Jake is such a despicable person and it shows, his fans are just as terrible as he is.
Sometimes I really struggle with realizing him and his brother are two different people. When I first clicked on this video I was like “you literally just made a video on this dude…but I’ll still watch it”.

The clip of him blowing on alissa's hair was so fucking hard to watch. Men like him do make their partners resort to things they'd normally never do, ie her turning around and slapping him. She was at her wits end in that clip and it shows. People with abusive partners can see that easily right away. I'm glad she got out.

I was there for all of it, the Team 10 house, the Bizarrdvark season one show, the neighborhood complaints, the Alyssa Violet situation and all fake relationships after, both of the twins situations, all of it… I was a viewer the whole way through. I even visited the team 10 house when I went on a trip to LA with my family (which I want to shoot myself for). And after I learned about all of the members perspectives, allegations against him, and the douchebaggery of Jake towards human beings altogether, the pieces were finally coming together that I was being hypnotized into this sad manipulative rabbit hole that I had to get myself out of before I dug more. I haven’t looked back since. If I had the technology to go back in time to assassinate myself during that time, I’d do it in a heartbeat…

Children don’t know what “cancelling” means. You can expose someone’s wrongdoings thoroughly, but if his supporters don’t think anything is wrong, or don’t even know what “wrong” means, it will go nowhere.
It's because cancel culture isn't real. It's a lot of talk, and a lot of outrage, and a lot of tweets, but nobody has ever actually gotten deplatformed in a meaningful way. Money talks, audiences don't care, boycotts don't work.
Cancel culture really only works on people with a conscious. If you have no conscious or even like being cancelled because it will provide publicity, then it will not affect you. You can have RUclipsrs who openly support bigotry, and they'll be fine. Then you have RUclipsrs who for the most part aren't offensive, or even support progressive messages, but then they have one tweet that could be interpreted as bigoted if someone really wants it to, and they can get bullied off the platform.
Many such cases of that. Chris Brown, Keemstar, Woody Allen...there's a long list.
KSI saved his and Logan’s career calling them out for fights and the Jake fight is still a possibility for the end of 2023 or early 2024

Thank you for using your platform to bring light to the SA claims. I knew he was a piece of trash but had no idea about that, and seeing the victims own accounts was incredibly powerful. Also a very respectful way of covering their abuse, thank you for giving their stories a good amount of time in the story of jake and Logan as a whole. I think some people could consider these types of videos trashy fun content, and some in the genre are, but I appreciate you giving this topic the severity it deserves. These women deserve our respect and I’m happy to see you modeling the good behavior the Pauls never did that lead to them being harassed.
The saddest part about the Justine Paradise situation for me was all the little girls who were Jake Paul fans who came out to blindly defend him without knowing shit about the world yet. I wonder how they're going to feel if/when SA happens to them (statistically it's inevitable that some of them will experience it) and they're also not believed and bullied and mocked for telling others what happened to them.
Ironically contracts signed by minors aren't legally binding thanks to the infancy doctrine, but I don't doubt he found ways to manipulate the kids/complete the contract.
Especially with the gross way he took advantage of the twins through their visas.
Our youngest daughter went behind our back and bought a cell phone and a cell plan from Walmart when we took her phone away from her as a punishment. Unfortunately, she left the instructions on the counter when she was setting it up in the bathroom and we caught wind. Mum marched her back to Walmart and advised them to return all her money and cancel the illegitimate contract. She was only 16 at the time.

Social media personalities like Jake make me scared to have kids. Because they'll be exposed to people like him if they have any access to the internet.
I don't know how you monitor what they see these days without completely removing them from technology and any friends that can get them access as well.
But the behaviors and "pranks" treated as normal really terrify me if a kid thinks those are acceptable actions.

As a kid i didn't really use the internet or watch youtube, which i think was a solid move, really.
i had access to a bunch of games, even from a young age, but i understood i shouldn't play some of them because it could give me nightmares and such.
I did a lot of Starcraft, played on the PS2, stuff my parents got when they were kids.
admittedly, i've always been perceptive, but you can still keep your kid safe as long as you're checking in on them.
you don't need to obsessively monitor their behavior, but don't leave them unobserved either. Make sure you know at least the generalities of what they're doing.
make sure they know it's not that they can't be trusted, it's that not all people online can be trusted, that sort of thing.
make sure the child is cautious. not necessarily apprehensive or on edge, but aware of the bad shit that can go on.

The amount of disdain I hold for these two is pretty strong and doubly so seeing the kids they preyed upon coming into adulthood and having a severely warped sense of what life should be. Tons of cross over between the Paul brother fans and those who follow even worse role models later on such as Andrew Tate. I can only hope they face actual repercussions at some point but sadly reality is rarely that kind.

I was actually a fan of jake back then when team ten was around. I was there when he got the part on Disney, but I was also 13 so my judgement was severely lacking at the time…
What's interesting is that Logan at least has something of value he sometimes does and could do without being a POS. He's a gifted athlete. He could have just went that avenue and actually been a benefit to culture.
But the thing with people like him and Jake is that as humans they are rotten to the core. Their only goal is "success" and they define that by clout and money, not by accomplishments.

A handful of generations ago, people fought to tightly restrict how people can advertise to children. It's slowly been lobbied away since, and we're now seeing what a completely de-regulated and unrestricted version of direct marketiting to children looks like. It's an absolute gold mine, with potentially disastorous results for developing generations. I doubt people back then though could've predicted something would along and side-step TV completely like this. It's been like a trap door just giving way all of a sudden, plunging whole generations into concentrated, unfiltered advertising. It's gonna have fucked so many people up man.
