No not necessarily true because they tailwind helped it achieve a vmax of 284 mph. Thats why the they took an average of two runs in opposite directions. The tailwind helps it acheive a greater top speed while a headwind slowed it down to 271 mph.

Yeah, I really don't get the hype surrounding the Bugattis tbh. From an engineering standpoint they're obviously great and pushing technology further etc. but i really don't like the look of them. To me they look like one of those "What do you think electric cars will look like in 50 years?" types of concept cars or some "We need to make a movie set in the future." cars, they're always so dull looking and very.. uhm.. not "round" but.. Yeah.. Round I guess. They just do nothing for me. I'm sure the Bugatti models are well made and everything considering who owns them but I just wish they'd get a better designer for them. Considering the kind of cars they are and their price, I'd want a more "cool" looking car than a Bugatti.

Doesn't really take brilliance to combine two v8 engines into a w16 and add 4 turbochargers to create an acceleration and top speed monster. Look at the new 720s and compare it with the chiron it's never lagging behind except top speed so all in all a far superior car for 1/8th of the chirons price.
So that car will be worth a fortune; the car that set 2 different records, emasculated bugatti and never even broke a sweat. Bet the customer is satisfied!

008 Rip The Agera RS is not modified, as it is an upgrade option from the factory, just like how 12C owners had the option to upgrade to 616bhp from the factory. It’s stock.
008 Rip the One Megawatt engine is a factory option, kind of like how Porsche offers the Weissach pachage that gives a little extra performance. There has been done no modification to this car, it came like this from the factory assembly line.
The incredible thing is that this car did all of this without catching on fire. It's one thing to build a world record car, but it is another to build a world record car that can do it over an over again so reliably. Just incredible.
The South 285 mph run is nice, but god damn that "uphill, against the wind" 271 mph North bound run is impressive. Go out and grab your bicycle and go uphill against the wind. That. And then 270+ mph. Holy cow that is monster impressive.

The Regera is slower,its top speed is only 248mph and the 1:one is an aerodynamically enhanced agera rs making it better on corners but is sacrifices speed and is theorized to be top 280mph which is 5mph slower

Gaurav Sharma since the Chiron has double the amount of cylinders, turbos, and powers axels, it’s much much heavier. Someone on RUclips analyzed both videos and actually counted pixels and found out that from 0-300 the Bugatti is the faster car because it can better distribute its power over 4 wheels. The RS won the race from 300-400. That means that the Chiron slows down at higher speeds. I’d be surprised if it can go faster then maybe 430kph.
@amarjit singh the 1 megawatt engine was an option for Agera RS, and the use of E85 is allowed on production car. So nothing is wrong on Koenigsegg side. On the hand, Bugatti themselves said the 300mph run they did was not for breaking the top speed record, but just a demonstration (and a testing session) for the Chiron Supersport+ prototype. Hence, no second run on opposite direction to get the average top speed. Even if they want to, they can't do it at the track because the asphalt condition isn't ideal to run on opposite direction. Imo, both cars are incredible in their own ways anyway.

The SS did 268 with 1200hp. The Chiron will get at least 10-15 mph more than that at Ehra-Lessian.

The Agera RS is not modified, as it is an upgrade option from the factory, just like how 12C owners had the option to upgrade to 616bhp from the factory. It’s stock.
008 Rip the One Megawatt engine is a factory option, kind of like how Porsche offers the Weissach pachage that gives a little extra performance. There has been done no modification to this car, it came like this from the factory assembly line.

The South 285 mph run is nice, but god damn that "uphill, against the wind" 271 mph North bound run is impressive. Go out and grab your bicycle and go uphill against the wind. That. And then 270+ mph. Holy cow that is monster impressive.

The Regera is slower,its top speed is only 248mph and the 1:one is an aerodynamically enhanced agera rs making it better on corners but is sacrifices speed and is theorized to be top 280mph which is 5mph slower

Gaurav Sharma since the Chiron has double the amount of cylinders, turbos, and powers axels, it’s much much heavier. Someone on RUclips analyzed both videos and actually counted pixels and found out that from 0-300 the Bugatti is the faster car because it can better distribute its power over 4 wheels. The RS won the race from 300-400. That means that the Chiron slows down at higher speeds. I’d be surprised if it can go faster then maybe 430kph.

@amarjit singh the 1 megawatt engine was an option for Agera RS, and the use of E85 is allowed on production car. So nothing is wrong on Koenigsegg side.
On the hand, Bugatti themselves said the 300mph run they did was not for breaking the top speed record, but just a demonstration (and a testing session) for the Chiron Supersport+ prototype. Hence, no second run on opposite direction to get the average top speed. Even if they want to, they can't do it at the track because the asphalt condition isn't ideal to run on opposite direction.
Imo, both cars are incredible in their own ways anyway.
