In a parallel universe, Daisy, the time-travelling shapeshifting heiress to the underworld,
walks through deserted city streets fixated on her cell phone. She walks past a holographic
event of The Meta Daisies and as their guardian, she is delighted to see them performing.
She turns and is mesmerized by a bright light radiating in the distance.
Drawn by the light, Daisy time travel’s seeking the source of the mysterious glow.
She finds herself deep in a dark forest where she discovers a castle with a secret tunnel to
an underground vault. Fascinated by a small red music box, she opens it and unleashes a
glowing sphere radiating energy which she then follows to the underworld.
Holding court, Daisy watches over The Meta Daisies rockin’ out and inspired by her passion
for rock music, she can’t resist dancing and is drawn into a euphoric state. She reaches out
and touches the angel which causes an epic explosion propelling her back up to the city
scape where she joins the energy sphere and ascends to the next meta dimension.
As pioneers in the metaverse, the Band & Daisy’s mission is to preserve the legacy of Rock
music now and in the future.
Rock is indeed alive and well.

I saw them on last Monday in Bochum/Germany. They were absolutely on fire and Glenn was outstanding. He was the only Mark II&III DP member that I haven‘t seen yet; except Tommy of course. Needless to say, that I was blasted when they played Mistreated and Burn. But even without playing DP-songs, the Daisy song-catalogue is more than just good enough to put a smile on everyone’s face. Thank you for bringing back some fun and joy in those strange times !!!

My favorite works by Glenn Hughes are his projects with Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi, particularly the DEP Sessions. This song, with its C# down tuning and hard rocking under Glenn's powerful voice and spot on bass guitar, is very reminiscent of that work. I've been waiting for Glenn to repeat that kind of edgy hard rock. If the rest of this album is similar, I may have another favorite album for the collection.

Glenn Hughes never ceases to amaze me...Last time I heard his music it was with Black Country Communion and I was blown away...And now this : Straight honest-to-God genuine metal ( that sounds very Iommi-esque and it would have been great on The Seventh Star...) that song sounds very cinematic and epic...

The depth of those damn guitars….damn….Tony Iommi’esqe. Just outstanding. A huge shout to Brian Tichy….killer beat and you’ve mixed power with grace and poise. Remarkable! What can one say of Glenn’s voice and bass. He’s a once on a generation phenomenon. Has been for a long time. Hats off to you sir!
