Is it really costing him $5 if he is gifting a sub to his own channel? Doesn't he end up getting some or most of that $5 in the end?
@@uncleruckkus6867 It's not costing him $5 but it's costing him subscription income and he was planning to get his money back with the enthusiasm that people would get to watch him die and play Elden Ring. But he's dying more often than expected (his words, not mines) and it's really going to cost him money. But he doesn't care at this point because the game is fun and people enjoyed his playthrough.

Average Elden Ring playthrough takes 200-250 deaths (for a new player). So that's what I estimate DM to get too.
Of course it will also depend if he is just doing the simplest ending or tryharding all the bosses.

You realize the money he pays for the subs...just comes right back to him next month. He is not gaining or losing money by doing this. It just gets viewers. So not expensive at all. Jesus some people have no common sense.

Imagine ever attempting a parry, block, counter or anything besides panic rolling 😂 I LOVE watching non-Soulsborne players struggling through. It either clicks at some point or you rage quit forever....or learn that magic is broken and OP & sleepwalk through the entire game with Comet Azure, Moonveil combo or Rivers + Bleed or frostbite procs.

On my first playthrough I died 958 times - 103 h , lvl 140 . I did almost all bosses and I was really bad :D
On my DLC prep run I died 183 times- 54h , lvl 125 , I stopped at Mohg , the boss before that was Morgott
I'm still really bad but killing The tree sentinel and Margit at lvl 1- 4 times helped a lot .

Man you should level up before you just rush into boss fights. Increasing your stats goes a very long way in this game... especially dealing damage lol. You shouldnt be fighting uber duriel at level 5 lol
Having beat this game multiple times, spirit use doesn't do shit for major bosses so the people bitching about them clearly don't play the game much.
Mimic tear is what everyone was salty about. That one could solo bosses if you got a good build. IIRC I think it was nerfed at some point.
Yeah it does man, fully upgraded tiche or mimic tear or dung eater trivializes a lot of main bosses if you're an experienced player
That is such a bs comment I have no words. Spirit Summons change the fight significantly in your favour, especially if you are runnign a glass canon build, spirits buy you time to dps, I wont even comment on top 7-8 summons when fully upgraded and how strong they are.
Completly different game with or without summons.
Lmao, I was about to mention pre-nerf Mimic or Tiche and I see someone beat me to it.
I played the Closed Beta and the Network Test. I warned people Magic & summons were broken. Comet Azure getting the 10 Second free mp physic before being nerfed to 7 seconds which Made no difference.
