They are all such great musicians and Sammy makes it all so much fun. He and Michael are so good together. Kenny is a power house on the kit and Joe makes guitar playing looks so easy.
Had the pleasure of opening for these guys at rocklahoma 2013, got to watch them from the press pit down front... LOVED every minute of it. I can not express how much I enjoy Sammy and Mike as people and performers

(LOVE LOVE LOVE Blackmores music but he is an asshole. just thought I better clarify before someone troll's me on it)

Everybody knows Michael is a great bassist, musician and singer chords. Wolfgang has nothing affair in that. He and his father played together in great pleasure. Chickenfoot gave Michael, Sammy and Joe a piece of good cake because they are great musicians.
Saw them in Tahoe, Chad was back after 6 years!! He's still a crazy beast, & it was like hanging w/. THE GREATEST GARAGE BAND ON THE PLANET!!!' (they were tight, & having fun being so close to us.....& we all sang along....fucking awesome!!!)

I cant believe it took me until the second song to realize that Chad Smith isn't drumming for them, its John Cougar's old drummer. I can never remember his name, he plays at the Kennedy center honors show's to.
+Chris J : I believe that Kenny Arnoff filled in for Chad Smith because he was under contract with The Chili Peppers to finish out their tour. Last I heard, Chad is still a member of Chickenfoot.
He played with John Fogerty quite a bit too. I think he's one of those guys who can do a good job and is known by other 'musicians' so when they need a good drummer, they know they can call him.
This should be the main gig for all off them. This band has the potential for greatness and if Chad Smith can't do it full time Sammy should replace him with Jason Bonham.Then hire Vic Jonson for rhythm guitar and that band would really rock. Who's with me?

I was at the Get your buzz on show in Phoenix, and then saw them in 2012 in Tucson and was critical of Kenny Aronoff. But he is great here.
