Sammy and all who love Sammy. I love Sammy Mikey, Joe and all that are Chickenfoot. Sammy was 65 when he did this. Today he is 71 and know one rocks like Sammy.

kenny aronoff on drums, ladies and gents. He played with everyone and is one of the best in the business since 1980

They are all such great musicians and Sammy makes it all so much fun. He and Michael are so good together. Kenny is a power house on the kit and Joe makes guitar playing looks so easy.

Had the pleasure of opening for these guys at rocklahoma 2013, got to watch them from the press pit down front... LOVED every minute of it. I can not express how much I enjoy Sammy and Mike as people and performers

So cool to hear you say that. I have never seen or hear ANYTHING negative about any of these guys. Joe is allways a humble gentleman. Even when "DICKY" I mean Ritchie Blackmore dissed him. (LOVE LOVE LOVE Blackmores music but he is an asshole. just thought I better clarify before someone troll's me on it)
@@gregorylpetrie - LOL, 100% agreed on Blackmore. Dude just kept fucking over every lineup he was in. Watching some documentaries I think the main reason was he was always jealous of the singers getting attention. That and just the need for narcissistic control.

Everybody knows Michael is a great bassist, musician and singer chords. Wolfgang has nothing affair in that. He and his father played together in great pleasure. Chickenfoot gave Michael, Sammy and Joe a piece of good cake because they are great musicians.

I don't think they've "quit" All of them have other great bands. This is kind of a fun side project to them. Hope they make more recordings...

Saw them in Tahoe, Chad was back after 6 years!! He's still a crazy beast, & it was like hanging w/. THE GREATEST GARAGE BAND ON THE PLANET!!!' (they were tight, & having fun being so close to us.....& we all sang along....fucking awesome!!!)
These guys are great musicians they compliment eachother like a hand fits in a glove really enjoyed video
Sammy has been in several super groups over the years and none of them lasted very long,VanHalen being the longest.Sammy is a great singer.

I was at the Get your buzz on show in Phoenix, and then saw them in 2012 in Tucson and was critical of Kenny Aronoff. But he is great here.

I think we all knew Satriani's a great guitarist, but until this his audience was mostly other musicians. This brought him into the mainstream and he fits in pretty nicely.

Great stuff. For all those peeps though, who think KA can't do the drums with Chickenfoot, just because he wasn't on the originals and involved in the studio, turn this off, put on a blindfold, and given a hearing test live, of of Chad vs Kenny, I bet 99,9% wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Kenny is exponentially more technically proficient. Does Chad have "the feel" just because he recorded it? Is Satch any less or better worse than Blackmore on Smoke On the Water? It's a taste thing, as well as a view of 'imposteur'. It all sounds as fluid as the first time. Comparisons get weary over time.
Chad/Kenny IMO watching this show ....they HAVE to miss Chad...Kenny does not seem to make a good rock drummer, just doesn't sound right. This type of music is about feel, sound, and timing not how technical a drummer is. Not saying at all that Kenny's not a good drummer, he is. And yes I play drums. And yes I am an asshole. LOL Will say that on "Up Next" he did a good job on that........ peace

I cant believe it took me until the second song to realize that Chad Smith isn't drumming for them, its John Cougar's old drummer. I can never remember his name, he plays at the Kennedy center honors show's to.

+Chris J : I believe that Kenny Arnoff filled in for Chad Smith because he was under contract with The Chili Peppers to finish out their tour. Last I heard, Chad is still a member of Chickenfoot.
He played with John Fogerty quite a bit too. I think he's one of those guys who can do a good job and is known by other 'musicians' so when they need a good drummer, they know they can call him.

I usually dislike Kenny A. as he often overplays with Fogerty, this is a better band for him, in my opinion
