It's great, I don't think i could be a true expat but 4 months a year is ideal for me. I'm almost 52 and doing some thinking. I'll subscribe - good work.
@@JJthelonelybullinasia oh it's 6 am there now. I really enjoyed early mornings there I could wake up with no alarm clock having excellent full sleep usually in bed by 10 and up by 5 or so. Good times!
Challenging the argument, stop at stage 2. No need to move up or over to prettier or younger. Find your best match and fall in love. That doesn't mean buy the first shiny car you see. Meet & get to know many. Use your head and accept the one that's right for you.
I expected this would be talking about how a relationship moves through different stages from first meeting, getting to know one another and so on, and how that might be different to how it happens in the West due to the cultural in the Philippines. If you could do a video like that too, I for one would find it incredibly helpful.

I am too old to keep making the same mistakes over again. I am happy with taking my shortcut and staying with my stage 2 Filipina who knows how to make me happy
Hi JJ, great introspective video 😀 I will be making my first trip there in October. I’ve been spending three months now on CF. Experiencing a little of stage one as you call it and hopefully get the stage two before too long.😉
What’s up JJ, hope all is well, I have only been here 3 months but I knew where you were going to on stage 4 about half way through this vid. Good stuff as usual.
Your stages remind me of dating in the west. Women have a 7 story mall for finding a man except there is one rule. You can never go back down a floor. So they begin their journey and find that each floor is offering something a little more. They find warm hearted guy on one, then warm guy that is handsome on two, then warm handsome and good job on three, etc., up to 6th floor. Here they have it all except there is one more floor that pulls on their curiosity for optionality. So they go to the 7th floor and find that it's empty. Standing alone they look out the window over towards the mall for single men. It only has 2 floors. Beauties on the first. Beauties who adore them on the second and they never leave. Maybe the western men who go to the Philippines need your stages to realize that optionality is a myth of modernity.
@@waranghira depends on the guy and the girl. But the more you spend to keep a girl, the less it becomes a relationship for the right reasons. That's what a Simp male would do. Thanks for watching.

This is a dandy "stages" vid. JJ IF you wanted to MEET a top province girl on one of the other islands how would you go about it? Also, would you consider the Mindanao Island off limits? Davao City. Gen Santos - - - for a visit. I'll be living in BGC, Makati or IT Park, Cebu. Any info on this would be appreciated. Many thanks, Sean.
@@seans7228 I would consider only a small area of Mindanao as being dangerous. Davao City is safe. I would probably bring a province girl to visit me first, but either way would be fine as long as her location isn't too out of the way. That could be problematic. Thanks for watching.
The problem I have dating Filipinas is a woman leaves her family to become ONE with her man, NOT the man becoming one with her family. The package deal is a toxic trend that most foreigners aren't aware of. Supporting a whole family is the most ridiculous financial abuse and having people interfere in one's relationship is a deal breaker. Not to mention unannounced visits and uninvited guests to come freeload is disrespectful and insensitive. A man should have his culture honored not the other way around.
Date a working woman who can use her own money to support her family. Also a good rule of thumb is to keep an island separation between you and your filipina family.

I don't like your stages at all. What makes any man think that he "deserves" to break the heart of a good Filipina just because a prettier one catches his eye. I went to the Philippines, met what you would probably describe as a 5 at best. She's overweight, (big deal so am I). In her 30's and a single mom. ( I'm in my 60's with 3 grown kids). Her caring, loyalty, and genuine love for me elevates her to a solid 10 in my eyes. The grass is not always greener in another woman's garden. We are very happy together, her daughter is a joy to be around, and her parents like and respect me as much as I do them. No "high value man" would throw away what I have found, and if you do, you deserve the money grubbing beauty queen that will cheat on you every chance she gets. Forget the "stages". Just find a good woman and lock her down. You will be much happier in the long run.
