I have learned in my decorating, which is everyday I must be creative..fills my soul.. that at Christmas time, I have very different Christmas ideas..using old world bowls, dishes, candles,dripping candles.. my wreaths are not Christmas, they are grapevine berries.. I have a grapevine swag in my arch way all year, at Christmas time, I scatter red carinals in it for all winter..having all white spun wool snowmen, that keep me company all winter with my cardinals..

Sweet girl, I have two of those pillows in my kitchen! I got them last year after Christmas! The only difference is mine are the rectangular, lumbar pillows, and the background is flax linen instead of the green. Then the birds are green. I love them! And I paid $19.99 each. Score!
Also, loving the chartreuse! Have incorporated in my living room with blue willow and in my kitchen with browns, cranberry, and gold.

( I think that lovely silver piece you plan to put paperwhites in is missing a glass dish in it and it is a covered butter server.. that's what it looks like to me )

I think your basket is a stair basket. One that you place at the base of the stairs, items that need to go up can then be taken at one time rather than many trips up and down.

Possibly you are talking about beadboard, it makes a beautiful backdrop and was, I believe, used in the 40's if I remember correctly

I love the colors you are using. This year I'm using fall colors as well. When I put up the tree in Nov, I put fall florals in it to wait til time to put ornaments on. Instead of taking them out, I just added my favorite ornaments to it. I dont have access to the beautiful florals you are using, but I'm loving the ones I have. Thanks for making me feel like it's ok to be a different goose.

OMG! I have the green pillows too, I flipped when I saw them the color of those pillows are striking, the linen pillows with the figs and bird, was on clearance at my Local Home Goods, it was a lumbar pillow and a 20x20 square… you just never know what you will find when you walk into a home goods..

I'm going to do a similar wall treatment in our guest powder room, so I googled "French wall panels", and lots of pretty things came up. If they are highly ornate, they are called, Boiserie.
I've decided to go to Michael's or JoAnn and order paint grade pine molding at the frame shop. I need 4 and I want the mitered corners to be perfect, and all of them exactly alike and they really don't need to be too ornate.

I think they do call it picture frame wainscoting ! We have it all throughout our home! We did it ourselves.I used Benjamin Moore Advance paint on everything! There is no applying wood beneath the squares,just good paint job! There is a lot of math laying your panels out.we cut and applied all of our own trim. Check the distant ,between each panel ,on top and sides of each.I think it was something like 3” top,bottom,between. Will be looking for that video.

I went to home goods in Towson md. And I bought the fig pillow. I was in love!! But it didn’t work in my home. Sad to say and with a heavy heart I took it back to my local homegoods. But I’m so happy they worked for you!!

The paneling style your speaking of is referred to as wainscoting. My husband has installed a more layered intricate style in our home. It will give your space a lovely added detail. I can’t wait to see the reveal😊

It is called Molding. What in does is mimic carved, cut wood paneling.
Real wood beadboard paneling would be beautiful painted white. If you ever watch Grandma Glitter on RUclips, her whole house that she and her husband built has it on the walls and ceilings.
