Okay I hope you're all happy. I watched this before going to bed. Then woke up with this song in my head. Later on proceeded to go to work and sing it in the halls (I am a teacher) as I did hall duty. School hallways have outstanding acoustics ...
The reason I love Brown's music is because it sounds like REAL Country Music! Not like the crap they play on the radio these days. Brown's music is the type of Country I remember when I was a small child. What happened to that beautiful style?
I met him in 1997 at Merle Fest in Wilkesboro, NC. An extraordinarily polite man, and his talent is beyond belief. Country/western, rockabilly, and surf guitar. He has been a major influence in my playing. He also has a great sense of humor. Thanks Jr.
I love the way how they put this video like an old-fashioned 1900's film with just music. I am not a music country music fan but I came across this song on the radio and I actually like this song. It is a good country song with a steel guitar.
He has his own sound and it is throwback golden age rockabilly mixed with his invention........ Ahhhhhh, I can't describe it, I just know I love his sound. And seeing him live is a real experience!
Underrated guitar player? Not in my book! Never mind the custom instrument that has both guitar AND slide… Show me one other musician who has THIS going on!🎸 Love you, Junior and Tanya Ray Brown!! PS - that is one hell of a funny video…
@@BaconTomatoCheeseJunior Brown isn’t “under rated” by anyone who has touched a guitar and listened to him play for 30 seconds. And yes the “guitsteel” (at least I think that’s what he calls it) is pure genius.
Does this group ever fail to entertain with absolute positive results!? I Wish country music was country like this.. Thanks for the real deal J.B. & Band!!!
Saw Junior Brown and Bob Dylan outside on a summer evening in a baseball field. One of the greatest concert ever! Stevie Ray Vaughan‘s brother was there with a really cute fiddle player from TX. Met Junior once in western WI as well. Almost forgot, got to see Junior Brown in Eau Claire Wisconsin for 20 bucks at the stones throw, medium size bar. So awesome! It’s like I just discovered Junior again just now. If you know, you know.
I saw Jr. in concert. It was so fun. After the concert we got to meet him. A young boy was in front of us. It was obvious he was sick. Jr. Brown was overwhelmed that he wanted his autograph and sighed his hat than took a picture. Such a nice man. One of the best ever.
Saw Jr. in concert a few months ago....he is incredible and yes, his tribute to Jimi Hendrix was phenomenal! He's so talented, even did a tribute to BB King who had just passed. Wish more people knew about him....his way with words and chords...wow!
I accidentally ran into this video, he is awesome! The video was incredible, made me laugh and the music outstanding. The lyrics, the music, the whole video performance was smooth like butter. I loved it!
I used to listen to KUT driving home after working afternoons. They had a program called 'Texas Radio' on Sundays evenings and that's the first time I heard this song, still a favorite......
I came here after a jam session where one of the guys pulled this song out, did a real nice job of it and we all kind of tagged along. Great song. Fun to jam to. Awesome video.
Saw Junior just last night at a small club in Ma. What a great show! He almost plucked the strings off of that guit-steel he plays! He broke hs pick, threw it in the audience, then grabbed another & kept right on playing. Worth the money to see this guy in person if you get the chance.
this guy is a trip . plays country like nobodys business then plays surfer music . i think he grew up with listening to the Ventures dang good too , anyway i like his style . Ever see his jimmy hendricks wholle shitzz he is somthing .

There are so many subtle (and accurate) bits of business that are clearly of this genre.
