Part 4 of all Root/Shaw scenes - from episodes 4x01 to 4x07 (with a little extra: a bit of that touching dialog between Root and Harold on 4x05.

The last scene here is just the LOL-liest. Shaw's the doctor, but she went to a hacker and said I can't understand these instructions on decontamination of a bio-weapon so we need to spend the night together stat.
Shaw totes playing dumb so she could have an excuse to be with Root all night :P

+woobiesftw Crap, you're so right! I didn't even think about it because Shaw acts so muscle-brained, but she went through college, med school, medical internship and part of her residency, she DEFINITELY understands everything written on that piece of paper.
Man, i was totally in the "they haven't slept together yet" camp, but knowing that and seeing that look between them? They for sure slept together.
It's difficult to infer the last clip. Sarah Shahi and Amy Acker have said that in moments like these some of the writers have told them that the characters banged off screen, and then some writers have said that it didn't happen after this episode. So I'm still in the haven't hooked up, until season 5 camp.

Season 4 is been incredible for Shoot so far. Can't wait to watch 4x9. The "if you could leave Shaw a message" part is the beeest. And the last scene, where Shaw implies that she cares about Root. "This could take all night" THEIR SMUG SMILES WHEN THEIR EYES MEET
4x10 was even better.. "We know it would be impossible to keep you locked up... against your will anyway"! And Shaw being angry at Finch because she thought that Root was going to meet Samaritan's agents alone... I just love them!

I've been reading comments on the show's FB page for the recent episode (504), and a bunch of (straight homophones) were going on about "this came out of nowhere, they never showed any interest in each other". COME ON. Did they even watch the show? They were totally sleeping together ages ago.
I had friends that watched the show and never noticed the HUGE sexual tension between then until the Kiss, so I'm not surprised by those kinds of people making those kinds of comments, and honestly I couldnt care less. The cast and crew acknowledges it and that's all I care about :D

You KNOW that half the reson Shaw was so into Tomas was because she knew Root was listening in/flirting/threaten(ed/ing)
And the way Root bites that straw in the beginning, she's SO imagining biting Shaw.
I wish they could have done something like that in season 5. I would have liked to have seen a jealous Root
Oh she was pretty jealous then. I mean, we didn't see a lot of it, but the moment where Shaw goes to Tomas' hideout and she's talking to Finch and Root comes in and is all like "Hey Shaw, how's your "date", she's gritting her teeth SO hard, and it's such a fake smile, and she's clearly PISSED.
There are lots of things i would wish we could see before jealous Root. Although, i wouldn't mind seeing more of it, it's so entertaining.

at 6:30 is Root referring to the mission that her and Shaw did earlier where they infiltrated the CIA safehouse and Root was the package and she was zip-tied and had a hood over her head? Is Root suggesting that something "hot" happened that night (with the 10 hours to kill)?
+RoRo W That is EXACTLY what I was thinking. They did an interview once where they said their relationship, at least the parts that aren't spelled out for us, kind of depends on different writers' interpretations. Like, one writer might think it's all flirtation and nothing has really happened yet, so the episodes written by him would be more subtext heavy. They said another writer was totally like, Oh yeah. You guys have definitely had A LOT of overnights. I think this particular episode was written by the latter. LOLLL

Their sly look to each other at the end always slays me. As soon as the writers and execs saw their natural chemistry they sure took us the audience along for the ride. Love they got them together in the end HATED they only gave them 5 secs of happiness. Root always wanted to b close to the machine guess she got her wish.

I understand why Root and Shaw feel so deeply about one another. Root sees all simulations in her head during missions and Shaw did over 7000 simulations. Their simulations were real, Shaw thinks she is still in one.
