Actually as the name suggest pinot grigio is a grey grape, grigio litterally transalte as grey. In italy we call those variety of grapes " bacca grigio ramata " grey copperish grain.
please try Günther Jauchs wine! He took over the vineyard from his grandmother because it had been in the family for generations, so not your typical celebrity wine.
If you want a moscato just heading to Romania. You’ll get a lot a good wines . As for associates with the wine they just want the money. Also in Romania you’ll find wines naturals
Thanks a lot for your insightful comments to wines. I love the Sauvignon blancs from New Zealand but dont spend on the Cloudy Bays as there are many to get at a lower price. Some are rated very high on Vivino but I wonder. Would love to hear your findings on Marlborough wines. Thanks, Andre
This reminded me of the winery owned by Maynard James Keenan, the vocalist for the progressive metal band Tool. If you get a chance to try some wines from Caduceus Cellars (Merkin Vineyards) and do a review, that would be interesting content!
LOL, this; Maynard James Keenan is also a man who could probably kick your ass if you're any ordinary guy reading this but there's another really neat tidbit about another member I always like to share... Adam Jones their guitarist was a key maquette sculptor for the dinosaur models in a little movie called Jurassic Park.
For the next part try the wines from Samu Haber, that is actually quite nice in my opinion and also the rosé from Pitt-Jolie from Miraval should be in the next line-up
Konstantin, I've been watching your videos for a couple of months now and absolutely love them. I'm not a huge wine drinker but really appreciate the way you take people through the process with your videos. Amazing stuff man. Thanks for the vids.
Sigurd Wohngravenm from the Norwegian black metal band Satyricon , has his own wine called Wohngraven. It is very nice and has notes of both earth and potato
Konstantin, I love your videos. I've only been in the wine industry for about 18 months, but I love the culture, history and science of it all. Though, I live in the U.S., my family is recently relocated from Austria. I particularly enjoy your regional perspective which matches my own taste much of the time. I've very much enjoyed learning by watching you, as well as spending time with Winemakers and Chefs in my current region, and hope to test for my Sommelier 1 next year. Until I came to the wine business, I never knew work could be so enjoyable. Thank you for sharing your experience!
Next time try Caduceus cellars from Jerome, Arizona. It's owend by a legendary vocal and frontman of the award winning progressive metal band called Tool. He's not just a name on the label. In fact, I think he is a head winemaker now but considering he's a descendant of Italian winemakers, it's not a surprise.
Was hoping for a review on Nagual del Judith myself and I'm surprised he didn't mention Coppola's wines. I'm taking it refined tastes don't extend to obscurity for the masses.
Greta vid Constantine! I had a housemate for the ski season last year who had an honorary place at the wine dinner table because he lived in the house.... the other wines were all 95+... he brought a bottle of Snoop Dogg! Bless him, he was trying... we let him finish it! Interesting to see the Mary J Blige wine, interesting choice for her... we have a few Pinot Gris ‘orange’ wines in our region... made to high level by very good winemakers... but they are very divisive! People love them or hate them!
The singer of Tool rock band, Maynard James Keenan is a real winemaker. You should defenetlly taste his wines. I never tasted hes wines but I am very currious since he is a great singer/artist. Keenan owns Merkin Vineyards and Caduceus Cellars, based in Page Springs/Cornville, Arizona, southwest of Sedona, where he resides.
Cadueceus wines are really good. Maynard does a great job with both classic and non classic varietals. The reds are better than the whites in my opinion.
Carole Bouquet owns a Pantelleria estate and does some Moscato di Pantelleria, and the most famous for a lot of time was Coppola winery, where there was serious winemaking going, not just a joint venture or brand, so does Sting in Chianti area ... many, many in Italy and France with sports people, or celebrities, actors etc...
11:14 haha I love it! Here’s a second draft: One, two, three knocks on the door Snoop, K-Tin, and body doubles make Four You’re gonna see double when you pop that cork Sippin’ juice, gettin’ loose, fallin’ on the floor. 🥸
The only good thing about that product [ in my view ] is that just the Sight of that label Will cause a buyer to Run to a restroom And Loose his/ her Dinner, " Thus " Deterring the purchase of Any Alcohol !
Pink absolutely crushes (no pun intended) her wine game. She is biodynamic too, and making some great looking Pinot. It’s a shame it’s next to impossible to get in Europe as I’d love to try it.
The Tameran winery from Gran Canaria is owned (I believe) by David Silva (football player) and they make amazing wines. Their Marmuejelo is very impressive. The wine is amazing by it self
Great review. I work for Gerard Bertrand in the US and I’m happy to see you like the Hampton Water. You should review the Clos du Temple rose by Gérard Bertrand, his top rose.
I am very curious to know with your expertise, do you know of any afforable/worth-spending-on irish/northern rish wines that are worth trying? As a native/someone new to the world of wine I would really love to know if you have an opinion on the wines of this region I would really appreciate your input, love your videos and you know what you're talking about, I'll talk your word for gospel!
P.S 19 crimes "original" is also the wine I started drinking at first/got my interest fuellled and I will take your advice to heart if that is of any interest to you, many thanks friend!
Sounds like good advice to me. Personally I would far rather trust a supermarket wine buyer or restaurant sommelier than a celebrity when I choose.. This was great fun to watch, and I look forward to the next video! Cheers. 🍷👍
Get a bottle of Kurt Russell’s Gogi winery. The Pinot Noir is excellent. They had a collaboration with Ampelos, which is the first certified organic winery in the USA.
hello, I ordered the riedel champagne varitas as you suggested, it is a wonderful glass, the only downside is the stem is so thin it scares me sometimes(that's not entirely a downside), other than that it Is basically perfect
Don't know why RUclips's algorithm sent me up your alley but I've been binging your videos in the last days, love your style, funny but informative too. Hopefully one day you can make a testing of the wines in my region: El Bierzo , in the northwest of Spain. I'd be curious to hear your opinion. Anyway, thanks for your videos and stay thirsty.
In the next one you should try anything from Wongraven wines. Sigurd "Satyr" Wongraven, known from the Norwegian black metal band Satyricon, works with producers in Barolo, Champagne, Pfalz and Piemonte. He appears to be quite involved in the process himself.
I was just about to say the same! :-) His Riesling must be the most popular white wine in Norway (don’t know that for a fact). I like his champagne that is quite grape fruity. I’d love to taste his Barolo.. but it is quite expensive.
If you decide on a sequel I would be interested in your opinion on Intercept Wines. The owner is Charles Woodson who is a Heisman Trophy winning football player and is in the NFL Hall of Fame. The wine maker uses Eastern European Oak, which I think is interesting.
Check out Doubleback winery by Drew Bledsoe (former American football player). He is very involved with the winery, I have yet to try but here it is very good.
How can a wine bottle cost 2 euro ? is it safe to drink such wine ? i mean they can put sugan and some chemicals to make it taste like wine no ? Would you gnow to detect that ?
When you get the chance, you should do a part two with Two Paddocks wines by Sam Neill. He's comparatively humble about the branding & his association with it and I've seen other articles about Two Paddocks that say they are the best examples of celebrity wine (and fine examples of Central Otago Pinot Noir at that) I'd love to hear your thoughts
I can recommend Kylie Minogue's wines, it is more a branding, than winemaking, since she has collaborated/put her name on a series of wines, from different producers and regions, ranging from Provence rosé from Sainte Rosaline, Rosé prosecco and bone dry Chardonnay from Margaret River.
“Don’t buy wine made by someone famous” - unless they’re a famous winemaker? 😬 This episode was very entertaining, definitely one of your best. That rap, though, was cringe-inducing. But massive props to you, Konstantin, for putting it in the video! That must’ve taken a lot of courage.
If you want an actually good celebrity wine, Daniel Riccardo (F1 driver from Australia) teamed up with St Hugo in the Barossa for a pair of wines and they're pretty nice
Looking at comments and it sounds like everyone wants a round 2 of celebrity wines. Personally when I think of celebrity wines I think it increases the probability that you're getting absolute plonk, but always open to try. I've not seen the Iniesta wine in the states, will keep an eye out for that one.
Actually really like the rosé from Angela Jolie and Brad Pitt. It was actually recommended to me when I was in a wine shop in France and was surpringly delighted . It s actually super good.
Hello Konstantin, are you planning on doing a video about the wines from Hungary? I would be very interested in watching a video about the Hungarian wines.
This is such a great video, especially the Snoop Dogg-rap ) You're debunking some celebrity-labels. I never tried one of these, but I will follow your advice. Did you kick the cocos-moscato bottle on purpose? )
Great video, as usual. Since Wineking disappeared up its own rectum, this is the best wine channel I know of. Anyway, I had experience over the last month that I found really interesting. First, I had a couple of Chablis, one Premiere Cru and another Grand Cru. They were both excellent. Truly great wines. Then this weekend I tried a Sonoma-based chardonnay that had gotten extremely high ratings from the wine magazines. It is Ramey's Rocholi Russian River chardonnay. What was really interesting was that this was excellent as well, though it had a completely different flavor profile from the Chablis. The Chablis were airy and subtle, whereas the Ramey was in your face with fruit and richness. All were complex and well-balanced. It might be an interesting video to taste two or more wines that are made from the same grape, are at similar levels of quality, but are produced in completely different terroirs.
I was hoping that you would have tasted Sarah Jessica Parker's Savignon Blanc by Invivo (New Zeeland), maybe for pt3? Would love to see some more (weird) celeb wines haha
Hi Konstantin, try Cepa 21 Ribera del Duero. Collaboration between BODEGAS Emilio Moro and Some Football Players like Ronaldo ( Not CR7) and Butrageno and ….This is serious stuff - my opinion.
Super funny, I loved it. You should do a second round though. Brad Pitt, John Malcovic, Sam Neill, Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Francis Ford Coppola and I'm pretty sure there are a few others out there as well.
Actually as the name suggest pinot grigio is a grey grape, grigio litterally transalte as grey. In italy we call those variety of grapes " bacca grigio ramata " grey copperish grain.
You're a brave man. The fact that you actually kind of liked a couple was a surprise. These videos are fun in a scary way! Keep 'em coming.
You had me at the Nicki Minaj thumbnail.
Whew
please try Günther Jauchs wine! He took over the vineyard from his grandmother because it had been in the family for generations, so not your typical celebrity wine.

Einen Wein habe ich spontan vermisst, den Miraval Rosé von Angelina Jolie und Brad Pitt
The wines from Sting are very good .

Hopefully the wine is better than his music
For the next part try the wines from Samu Haber, that is actually quite nice in my opinion and also the rosé from Pitt-Jolie from Miraval should be in the next line-up
You should check out the Cliff Richard wine. He was given his wine to taste in a blind tasting and he trashed it and called it undrinkable.
I have always wondered about these celebrity wines. Thanks for taking one for the team and testing them out for us. :)
Bei einem Teil 2 unbedingt den Wein Malo von Dieter Meier (Yello) probieren. Braucht etwas Luft vor dem Trinken. Gebe dem Wein ein 4.5 / 5.
I loved the rap 😂, kudos !
Miraval or Brangelina rosé. That was the only celeb wine I knew up 'till now. Thanks Konstantin, informative as usual.
Konstantin, I love your videos. I've only been in the wine industry for about 18 months, but I love the culture, history and science of it all. Came to say this.
Was hoping for a review on Nagual del Judith myself and I'm surprised he didn't mention Coppola's wines. I'm taking it refined tastes don't extend to obscurity for the masses.
What?

Train’s Drops of Jupiter wine was good. I kept the bottle for decoration
Would love to get your thoughts on the one from Maynard James Keegan of Tool
Need to do Caduceus Cellars is a winery in Jerome, Arizona, United States. It is owned by Maynard James Keenan. Lead singer of the band Tool.
He's also the winemaker which is quite unusual for celebrity wines.
I was going to suggest this too. Haven’t tried or even seen it. Any good?
Same here, I vote Maynard too.
@@jamespants6591 Haven't ever got my hands on a bottle. If I ever see it in the Northeast I will buy it.
Probably impossible to acquire in germany
You forgot a bottle of Earl Stevens selections from the rapper E-40.
If you do this again you will need to try cliff richards wines. Apparently they are pretty good
That’s it, I need to see if I can drink more wine the Depardeiu
The singer of Tool rock band, Maynard James Keenan is a real winemaker. You should defenetlly taste his wines. I never tasted hes wines but I am very currious since he is a great singer/artist. I want to know what you do with all the wines you open and sample.
That rhyme was fresh!
hahahaha “no it’s not.” immediate response.. that was funny and the same reaction as when I first drank 19 crimes.
Friuli is one of my favorite wine regions ! Cheers !
Could you explain the score you assign to wines?
I love the cab and red of a brand named intrinsic and the bottle labels are awsome.
Constantin, do you think you out ever do a tasting which included a DRC wine like La Tache?
4 sure!
i wish i could like this video twice konstantin, well summed up
Great video as always but there is missing Lisa Vandapump Rose from Provance and maybe Miraval? :)
Glad I subscribed…so far. Haha!
Dave Mathews actually owns Blenheim Vineyards in Charlottesville, VA. They make probably the best Rkatsitelli in VA.
11:14 haha I love it!
Here’s a second draft:
One, two, three knocks on the door
Snoop, K-Tin, and body doubles make Four

Yea though KB doing a live vid of the rap was good.
@@tonygallo1104 yeah I think he should do more hehe
Snoop Dogg - gangsta wine.
"Let's see whether the wine is any good - NO IT'S NOT".
.
Shocker...
It probably tastes like cough syrup mixed with Hypnotic liquor lol
The only good thing about that product [ in my view ] is that just the Sight of that

Just found your channel a couple of weeks ago.
Great videos.
Pink absolutely crushes (no pun intended) her wine game.
She is biodynamic too, and making some great looking Pinot.
It’s a shame it’s next to impossible to get in Europe as I’d love to try it.
Please review caduceus wine!!!!
I don't drink wine because im islam and wine is forbidden for muslim people, but i really enjoyed watching your video
Fascinating. A few of these I would buy. 85 and above are fine with me.
Hahaha, got a few chuckles watching this video Mr Master. Thanks buddy.
I'm going to have to try that Hampton rose.
The Tameran winery from Gran Canaria is owned (I believe) by David Silva (football player) and they make amazing wines. Their Marmuejelo is very impressive. The wine is amazing by it self

Sting's Tuscan wine "message in a bottle" (of course) is pretty good as well!

Martha Stewart having her own bottle of 19 crimes really makes me laugh
You should try Georgian, Turkish or Israeli wine, I’m honestly curious, do a tour of places that have a long history of wine making.
You are so polite about NM wine, don't think i would have been so tactful lol.
Don't know why RUclips's algorithm sent me up your alley but I've been binging your videos in the last days, love your style, funny but informative too.

I had no idea that the 19 Crimes winners had that cool app... Glad to know that a master of wine agreed with my assessment of the wine, though! 🙂
you should do it blind if you can, always!
When you get the chance, you should do a part two with Two Paddocks wines by Sam Neill. came in here to mention this. i didn't realize until recently that it was his winery but it's some of the best in new zealand
Well it’s Central Otago! The worst entry level wines score over 90 points.... not even Nicki Minaj could mess that up!
Great show. When a portuguese wines line-up?
Had to give you a 'Like' after that top tier rapping at 11:15
I can recommend Kylie Minogue's wines, it is more a branding, than winemaking, since she has collaborated/put her name on a series of wines, from different producers and regions, ranging from Provence rosé from Sainte Rosaline, Rosé prosecco and bone dry Chardonnay from Margaret River.

It's good to know that Iniesta's wine is good. I think some one told me that he comes from a wine making family.
Konstantin tasting skill is awesome! Rapping…not so much! I hope to borrow a tasting bud to make my blind tasting better!
Konstantin, please rap in every video.
Just tasted Post Malone’s maison no9 rosé -> would definitively recommend trying this wine if you ever do another tasting celebrity wines video!
Oh that is interesting. Good theme chosen.
