Three Fireboxes here. I'm a fan not only because of the build quality and the funtionality, but he actually takes us out when he tests and uses his creations. And he has goats.
I've had mine for a few years now and still as good as new. I always give it a wipe down with a drop of veg oil on a cloth to keep the hinges working properly. All the best
Firebox stoves are excellent!! Steve is great to deal with and will answer any questions you have. I have the large G2 in Titanium and the G2 Nano in Stainless Steel and like them both. They stand behind all their products, great company!!
I have the Firebox Stove stainless steel G2 model. What convinced me to buy firebox was they are designed to build a big fire in for heating. Unlike the others it does not void the warranty when you do. I have built some rip snorting fires in it and it does not warp. Yeah, it's a tad heavy but it is basically bombproof. I have a very large stainless steel foldable windscreen, and when you use that, it really puts the heat back to you. Beats the heck out of using a wood reflector. If I want a long-lasting fire, I make a small swedish torch. It will last a long time.. I bought the Firebox after watching all the videos and on line commentaries I could find. To my ear of thinking it is built to last longer and use heavier, more often for more uses, and a better warranty. Watch his video on using a Swedish Torch. One of the kids he cooked an entire meal without refueling after 45+ minutes.
Hi Dan, great video. Got my Gen 2 about 3 years ago and have been building up my Firebox collection ever since. Brilliant gear although no agents out here in Malaysia, so I order my stuff direct from Firebox in the U.S. Doesn't take too long to arrive either. Accessories for the Gen 2 are fantastic and I have the full set. I find it so versatile being able to use my Trangia, charcoal, wood chips'' Firebox gas burner attachment and diffuser plate. Regularly in use for our BBQs where I use mine for my veggie food and the kids have a separate bbq for their non veg stuff. Health and wealth warning -The Firebox bug is contagious as Steve's products are damn good - I now have the Nano, Scout, Box Pot, Kit Pac, cowboy plate frying pan with a few more items on my latest list to justify another order. The Gen 2's a heavy bugger but like all Firebox gear, it's built to last ! Definitely an investment for long term use. Cheers buddy and stay safe
I’ve had the original G1 for years, great bit of kit. Fire box have a very good instructional video on Utube that shows all the different uses and set ups, including using the ash plate near the top of the stove as a griddle. I’ve used mine with wood, charcoal, peat, wood pellets and even cat litter. Also trangia/meths, ethanol gel burner. A second pair of the pins are a also useful extra
i like the fact that you told the truuth about warping; steve from firebox made a video trying to shoy the his stove does not warp. I think that more people would agree that they would have apreciated if they have known it sooner. anyway, apreciate your onesty on the chanel. cheers🍺🍺
I have had a Gen 2 and it’s Little brother, the Nano. Fantastic stoves. I have used them consistently for over 5 years. Both are still intact, no flaws and still solid. You get what you pay for and they won’t let you down.
Another great video thanks Dan, love the "firebox" great way to extinguish the fire once you've finished boiling your coffee👍🤣🤦♂️ I've got one of your "stick burners" and have to say it's amazing. Look forward to see what additional items you have to use with the firebox later on in the year.
RESPECT, Maybe you did not have to change your named stove Vids, but you did out of respect for a copy write issue. You thought you should, and this is the kind of person that I will stay subscribed to. And for Steve to send you a stove in exchange was a Stand Up Move. ( impressive). Thank you for being such a Gentleman. Thats why I'm here.
Both are a quality stove. I have the Bushbox. I do want to get the Firebox next. I watch Steve cook amazing food on his. Bushbox is made in Germany which means quality. Same with Firebox. Made in USA. Quality.
Looks great, wouldn't mind one. Simple burner l Love the channel, makeing me closer to buyin a tent and a few bits myself 😊. O and the shopping basket idea...that was brilliant. Them two together you could have rite ol time😂👍
I have two FB stoves (G2) one is Titanium. My favourite fuel is coconut charcoal sticks, burns for hours with no messing around, obviously using what’s free in the forest is great as well. Trangia or Firebox gas stoves will work in the G2. I’m guessing but Dan is probably talking about the cast iron 5way which looks amazing and very versatile. Would like to get a set myself but the only place I know that sells them in the UK has sold out, hopefully they will get some more in soon as getting it sent from the USA is very expensive.
I bought many of the wood burning folding stoves, put-together stoves and those cheap collapsing Chinese stoves……my favorite go-to stove is my Chinese collapsible stove 5” * 5” * 8”…….all item descriptions bop er the years all say 2lbs, but mine weighs in at 1.5lbs…..the best twig stove that I also modified for alcohol and for gas ……
I’ve looked at them, but can’t justify the expense. As for the weight. If the weight difference, about the weight of half a litre of water, should you be outdoors anyway?
I love them 3 in 1 coffee sachets they are nice. They them in caramel and vanilla coffee flavour too. The pound shop on pellon lane in halifax does big bags of 24 for ,£2
I had a twig burner from the scouts raising money for their Jamboree trip! Good bit of kit, used it to cook and as a firepit. If you have any of your stoves left could you send me a link? Look forward to seeing the gear you get. Stay safe Dan atvb 👍🦊
hello Dan , Saw your Haunted woods video yestoday , on a channel called Creepy tales , It was the first clip in their video , and your channel was mentioned also . you are becoming famous mate ! 🙂
I have all firebox stoves and Bushbox XL and LF. I prefer Firebox over Bushbox because if big diameter pan or pot is putted over stove, it will choke BUshbox stoves if trivets not on Bushbox first. Firebox with its side open door on top don"t have this problem.
No wasps and no Bees, wasps are also important accidental pollinators as well as Bees as they go from plant to plant looking for nectar and also spread pollen. 64 years old and I have never known a summer with so few insects.
I love my bush box so much so I bought another and have them both together going side by side at the same time, I fit the long grill plate between them at the bottom and this becomes a stand to keep a small pot warm after you have cooked something in it. [boil up some veg in a small pot then put it in the middle to keep warm while to carry on cooking over the two boxes] I would imagine there is a way of doing this with 2 fire boxes as well 🤔

I have both the Bushbox as well as the Firebox G2. They are both great quality stoves. I personally prefer the Firebox however.
Thank you for watching. I'm very honoured that you have taken the time comment as well. I got into hot tent camping after watching your videos.
@@englishwoodsman That's awesome. Glad my videos were inspirational for you.

Hi mate, been using the same firebox for some years now and I’ve definitely learned a few new tricks from you today, cheers 👍
Congrats for 91k more to go 👍
Thanks Dan for great video enjoyed watching about the G2 fire box stove see you on the next video enjoy your videos cheers Dan 👏😊

Great Stove! Firebox for me Dan. Great video - as always. Looking forward to seeing more cooking in the future ;0)
Versatile bit of kit
you are keeping the firebox because you simple Love it kidda. I'm the same way with my Teddy-Bear.
Looking foreward to the new parts and the Fooooood 😂🤤
I LIKE my Firebox twig stove for its flexible design. It is fine for when a small, hot fire is needed.
I bought one for £12 I’m well happy with it so far. Might have to check out the fire box.
Cheers Dan😊
YOU cool dude lol another grate vid mate
Bushbox very similar but easier to feed wood into
I have two FB stoves (G2) one is Titanium. My favourite fuel is coconut charcoal sticks, burns for hours with no messing around, obviously using what’s free in the forest is great as well.
Trangia or Firebox gas stoves will work in the G2.

Yes you can get a gas buner that fits, trangia on and it is listed on the store site.

Firebox is best for sure
I have no need to buy one but I’d prefer the firebox. I’m only commenting for the algorithm. All the best Dan
Buschcraft essential for me by far!! The feed hole is way too small I believe. But everyone has their own opinion.
It's the one I have firebox all the way get the full kit it's not cheap but will never let you down 😊😊😊
I’ve loved mine for about four years. I’m looking at getting the titanium version.🤙
I’ve looked at them, but can’t justify the expense. As for the weight. If the weight difference, about the weight of half a litre of water, should you be outdoors anyway?
lol, I agree with you on that.
Dan, have a look at the gas adaptor with the plate. It is brilliant for grilling steaks and lots of other uses
The ash tray should be the same side as the pins, they stop the ashtray falling off.
I like the firebox and the ti nano
I love them 3 in 1 coffee sachets they are nice. They them in caramel and vanilla coffee flavour too. The pound shop on pellon lane in halifax does big bags of 24 for ,£2
Thanks Dan for the demonstration and review of the “Firebox “ stove…looks like time to crack open the wallet…👍!
Have a great day!
Never knew i needed a firebox haha Hope youre sponsored 😂
bush box all day long. easy to feed
You can do much more with it also hang the the other plate off the side so you can keep things warm banging product😮😮😅😅😊😊😊😊
Firebox all day long. Amazing functionality. Use it with the trangia liquid fuel or trangia gas stove if you don't want to use wood.
Bush box so far Dan. 👍🏻

Let's gooooooo Dan
Top tip is to use copper wire wool it's softer than the metal on the stove it doesn't scratch it 😊😊
If I did not have to pay shipping from the US, I may of considered one. I like the stove a lot.
I got mine from the Bushcraft Store uk. Highly recommended.
hello Dan , Saw your Haunted woods video yestoday , on a channel called Creepy tales , It was the first clip in their video , and your channel was mentioned also . you are becoming famous mate ! 🙂
If you were to do more Haunted Camping mate , you would have so many followers from the USA .

Dan have you noticed there's no bugs 🐝 bumblebees it's not looking good.
Far less than there used to be!

64 years old and I have never known a summer with so few insects.
Mid to late summer the pollination business is winding down a bit.
@@AnthropoidOne Hardly seen anything all summer though this year, drove 120miles at the weekend and had one insect screen splatter.
You can get wirewool sticks so you dont get your hands as dirty
Cant beat a kelly kettle i.m.o dan
“Bits of MEAT”!!!!!!!!! Rearrange these words into a well-known phrase or saying - ‘with mouth your out soap wash’. 🤷🏻♂️🤣😂😂
I love my Honey Stove
Have you ever camped in Colchester
A couple of rocks and a screen.
Fire box
Yet another giverway video
I love my bush box so much so I bought another and have them both together going side by side at the same time,

Hope your getting a pack goat to carry it all 🤣🤣
yours looks better lol
When using wire wool watch out for strands caught on grill, not nice to eat!
Just make sure its not on the grill
Why not use the hobo stove, you can make one completely by free.
