It is a pretty fun game.
Probably because you don't need to look at everyone's boners to know how much KHII is liked, but re:coded tends to fly under the general populace's radar a lot as a handheld entry.
As DS games are becoming a rarity these days. Unless it is Pokemon.

Spiderman 2 was never really that good imo. The lack of Xehanorts made it so bad. Although, Cory was pretty epic, especially during the ending (don't wanna spoil it for the ones who haven't played the game)
Remember the scenes where you deliver pizzas as an undercover to the Xehanorts? They like *DARKNESS* pizzas with extra *D* *A* *R* *K* *N* *E* *S* *S* .
Nah sorry fam I'm too poor to buy that DLC. But I heard that part was critically acclaimed and nominated as one of the best written scenes in videogame history.

Yeah, I just had to get that one after all the hype. My favorite moment was when J Jonah Xehanort was laughing. Which was a reference to the original young-pre-time-travel-Xehanort when he laughed that one time after saying "X-BLADE!" in Spiderman 1.5 Recoded Final Mix.
Oh, I haven't played that one. Is it as deep in plot as Spider-Man 2? Or even better, Spider-Man: The Chain of 358/2 Memories of Days of Birth by Sleeping Dream Drop Distance of a Fragmentary Passage HD Remix Final Mix?

Removed sora's intelligence eh? Yep, pretty accurate. Hopefully Sora will be like his KH2 self in KH3 rather than dream drop distance. His personality was ruined in that game. It isn't for time travel reasons either, otherwise Riku would be an *ss again.

I literally said it doesn't work for time travel reasons either. If his personality reverted to his younger self more or less, the same would have applied to Riku and he would act like a complete *ss. Even if it did only apply to Sora, I think he was less naive and stupid in KH1 than DDD.

There isn't much of a difference between Sora's KH2 and DDD self. He became the stereotypical dumb shonen protag in KH2, and it just got worse in DDD. Not his fault, obviously, it's the problem with the writers giving less and less of a crap over the course of the franchise.
If anything I wish Sora was as sensible as his 14 year old self. Seriously. He acted like a normal, human boy -- naive, but relatively normal.
From what we can see in the trailers, I'm sure Sora is back as his good old self, considering he was being sassy to Marly.

I was less bummed by the removal of Sora's intelligence and more of the loss of his personality. I mean, he went from an ordinary yet sensible kid with reasonable goals, to kind of a cool guy with a bit of an attitude, to "Golly gee willikers, what an adventure I'm having!" It was like he was on full "Let's go see Santa Claus!" mode, except not as funny and played out for far too long. That's why I fell in love with his character all over again when I decided to watch the Toy Story cutscenes of KH3 and saw him finally strike a balance. I swear, I didn't feel absolutely giddy about this game again until they started handing out the juicy bits of the worlds and stories.
Considering the Yu-Gi-Oh! References in the videos. I feel as though we need a story about Seto Kaiba, I mean, Greedy Edge Boy, and his brother, Annoying Character that Always Gets Kidnapped. You know, just because.

I always thought Aqua in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep was written odd. She talks about her friends a lot, but when she sees them she always causes a conflict and insults them. I guess Aqua was a tsundere the whole time.
Kingdoms of Heart is a very good videogame! You can visit a lot of Looney Toons worlds, make friends, and hit people with a fancy stick.

_ Tylireous _ KH1 had Cory, but besides that and the Ninja attack, was pretty accurate to what happened. Chain Of Memories runs with the Yu-Gi-Oh joke Somecallmejohnny made who even gave Just A Pancake a shout out in one of his KH1 Lv.1 Proud Mode livestreams. KH2 centered on mostly true, but decided to make a base breaking move by calling Roxas terrible which carries over to 358 with something about Spiderman. Oh and Birth By Sleep was pretty much glossed over
That Roxas name is an old meme, of the IGN employees called him that when talking about his thoughts on KH2 when it got released. And wait Somecallmejohnny gave a shout out to me?

Just a Pancake Yeah, if I remember correctly, it was in one of his KH1 LV.1 Proud Mode streams, specifically Session 8, where he was about to face Ansem Riku and mentioned your Kingdom Hearts 1 in a nutshell video and how he did find the zoom in on Ansem Riku's face at points entertaining. It's at the near end of the stream, after he destroys Dragon Maleficent if you want an idea of where to start watching for it.
