The step where you blow all the gator dust with the blower needs to be re-thought.. There are other ways of doing this without covering your house etc. in all that dust. It works here in this video because this walkway appears to be in the middle of the yard.
Blowing the sand is not the right way to do it, i use a brush stone by stone and after that i apply the water. Fisrt coat of water 4ft high second coat 2ft high third coat 2ft high, let it dry 24hrs and then clean all the stones with the gator cleaner.
🤔 I’m thinking the same thing!? I’ve never seen people using a blower to blow off the gator sand at this stage, since it’s not set yet?! It sure is easier than the traditional way if it works, without removing more than you want to.
The problem is u shouldn’t really do that do a dry laid pad. If they are laid in sand they most likely move a little bit and that will crack the mortar joint.
just used this product three days ago you do not need blower just need to know how to use broom i do 2200 feet also you do not need so much water, just saying not judging, with blower you can remove polymer as it is a lighter component or in least segregate from aggregate on all important top layer just trying to be helpful nothing else
Emi Sandov it’s called flagstone...big box stores by you may carry them (Menards,Home Depot) or if you have any mulching retailers near they also carry varieties of stone/rock

Vince Gironda's #1 Fan , good point. Use a fine broom or brush I assume ?
@@northjerseykevin3915 i use a blowers after stiff then soft broom.....difference is BRick has a much much better trigger finger....its about finesse
Rethink your comment and just mask off your house or use a tarp

Blowing off the dust, don't you lose all the dust? How does it remain there?

I would never have done that.
What a crap way to do this job. Much better to re-point with a dry mix by hand. Takes longer but you get a solid job done that will last for years.

How do you get the gray stains off afterwards? Doesn't matter how much I rinse, I still have what looks like gray dust residue.
I got it off with a pressure washer
Não existe uma técnica que não desperdice tanta água e confira melhor acabamento? Obrigado
É só nós brasileiros que não gostamos de desperdiçar água rsrs
I just use mortar sand for that kind on job
Why gray instead of beage tone? It would match better

Having reapplied gator dust 3 times in the past 5 years, I'm here to warn other people to avoid it.
Why?
What is the name of the stones? And where I can get those? Thank you
