I’m glad I found this, thanks for posting. I’ve got hella horns too and wanted them white so one weekend coming up I will be doing this too and then painting them. I feel more confident now watching this, thank you!
I had front bumoer repainted because i was hit at parking lot above front left tyre and fender deformed a bit and bumoer was scratched. Now gaps between bumoer and fender are uneven, almost completely tight at base and gaping hole towards the headlight. Hope guys who did the bodywork and paintjob didnt damage anything and just retihtening all the bolts will do the trick.
Mine does that on one side, one of the main support plastic clips that's molded into the bumper cover itself, looks like a U is broken off on mine. It's been like that since I got the car, so it sags on the one side. Look under your headlights that's where it clips on to the frame
I saw those big ones under the headlight, they are ok. Screws holding everything together under the hood seem a bit more cliser towards the engine on one sides than on the other. I will try with that first and than checking the rest. Thanks for info
I removed the bumper and then replaced and the passenger side headlight seems to now have a massive gap between that and the bumper, i've removed and refitted several times and it just doesn't seem to align properly, any suggestions?
I cant remember exactly whats different, its not much i know that because ive taken the front clip off a 14 before. Pretty sure its really close to this procedure.
Just bought my kiddo a 2015 Ford Focus SE hatchback, the newer version this year with multiple bumper parts. That car is extremely low to the ground unfortunately she doesn't slow down as much as I would have liked over bumps etc. She even scratched the lower front end pieces of the front bumper pulling up to the curb. :) These pieces seem to be removable etc. Has anyone removed any of these smaller front pieces to allow for more ground clearance? I understand that it probably assists with fuel economy etc. but jeez is this vehicle low to the ground.
Pete Onsholm I’m not entirely sure what you mean by lower pieces, the removal of the front bumper is the same on the se and st, as far as I know the st is the lowest it comes. If you’re talking about the underbelly pan toward the front bumper it is part of the structural integrity. Removing will weaken the front end and most likely crack the front bumper cover.
BrendoST wish I could take a picture. Essentially, the 2 pieces underneath the fog lights are separate pieces and held together differently to the pan underneath. My kiddo scraped it hard. I think we are talking about the same thing but I wouldn’t refer to this thing as a “bumper” compared to my Wrangler. 😜
Pete Onsholm are we talking about the air separators right before the front wheel wells? They look like mudflaps but in the front of the wheel. Or is there an additional lower lip that isn’t shown on my front bumper in this video?
I have Focus Mk3 from 2014 but before lifting, do you think that I can without problems swap the hood, light and the front bumper from the lift version?
It is possible, full bolt on, planning to do this on my ST soon, link to source: officialthreetwenty.com/2017/02/20/how-to-mk3-5-focus-st-front-end-conversion/
UPDATE: Not worth the time and hassle, decided to sell the ST and use the money for that towards a different car. I was looking at around 1500 (including carbon fiber hood because to paint an un primed one would make it more than the carbon fiber one)
johnpaul sajo it’s just zip tied to the front grill. I shaved the back of the grill with a flap wheel on an angle grinder. It takes a while but it’s nice when it’s finished
BrendoST I don't have an ST I just have a normal 2016 SE and I'm scared to "pop it out" and snap off any clips holding it in so I assumed I had to go around from the back
how do you get to the tabs holding the bumper cover to the car which is directly under the headlights??? In my opinion removing the headlights are the easiest way, and side note they are 2 screws, hardly worth your stupid ass comment.
Really helpful video! I'm changing bumpers on my ST-Line soon so knowing where everything is in advance is a huge help! Thank you!
This video really helped during my Intercooler install!! Thanks!!
This is the clearest video I found for this, and it really helped me with my intercooler install. Thanks so much man!
I'm glad it could be of help!
This^
Thank you so much for this guide. Saved me many hours.
Glad I could help

You're very welcome, im glad my dumb videos are able to help someone!
Thank you! This is very helpful and you took the time to explain!
Berto G-eee I’m glad I can be of some help.
Great video!
Helped me a lot
We will need to do this on an SRT eventually to install a better intercooler and possibly new depo fog lights.
Yes sir, when you getting it I can't wait to work on it!
Good video! It helped a lot!
Dude super helpful, thanks so much

Nice video! What bracket did you use for your license plate? Thanks
Chris Sepulveda good ol zip ties right to the grill
Great video thx!
What front plate holder is that? Where did you buy it?
That's just the zip tie special lol I did however shave the back of my grill so it's all open
@@Brendenowits thanks!

Does a focus st 2015 bumper fit the ford focus titanium x 2015? I wanna do a facelift
As far as i know all the mounting points are the same, sstuning did a face lift turning a sedan into an st. Should jusy plug and play
What are those red plastic round things in the front - upgraded horn?
Yes they are Hella super tones lol.
Thanks for the video, any idea what steps are different in 2014 ST?
I cant remember exactly whats different, its not much i know that because ive taken the front clip off a 14 before. Pretty sure its really close to this procedure.
I would assume this would be the same for an NA Focus front bumper?
NBHRaven I can only assume not having done this on a na focus. But even if there is a difference it would be only slight and easy enough to figure out
U in Buff? Me 2. Do u still have st?
Yup still got it
As you say at the very end (14:00), it is possible to leave the underbelly pannel. How does it attach to the bumper?
You can leave it on, you would just need to remove the front 3 torx to it as I believe they attach as well to the front part on the bumper
You take the factory flutter system out? If so any codes or problems
aron4198 no codes or issues
BrendoST notice any power gains or mpg gains or loses?
I would say whats noticeable is it runs cooler, MPG if there was a change it wasn't noticeable
You removed the active shutter on your car ?
Are you missing the shutter things. That's what I'm needing to get too.
yeah I removed them a bit back when i did a different intercooler, this guide will get you to them though
@@Brendenowits did that effect the start stop feature by anychance
@@royshields510 wouldn't know, my car doesn't have start stop. But I don't think it would.
Ty very much
How many screws underneath total?
What attachment did you use for your front plate? Been trying to find mount for mine
It’s just ziptied to the front grill lol
Ahhh, lol well played sir
So would this be the same for the SE?
It should be or very similar. All the anchor points between models should be the same
Stupid question but what are those red things in your grill?
Oh lol theyre hella supertones, really loud horns.
@@Brendenowits Dude thats badass!
Tomorrow you are my guide ! Lightbar should be a breeze now. Thank you 🔥
Glad to be of help!
What about the parking sensors? What do i do with them?
Good question actually i do not have an answer for my car did not have the sensors.

Seifer Firehart I don’t beleive it’s possible just thinking about cars frames are a little different, that’s a question I would ask on the st forums
That's a bumper, i mean a bummer. I'll do some more research though.
It is possible, full bolt on, planning to do this on my ST soon, link to source: officialthreetwenty.com/2017/02/20/how-to-mk3-5-focus-st-front-end-conversion/

How did you do the license plate
Zip ties
BrendoST what did you attach the zip ties to , on the back of the plate
How did you attached the license plate?
zip ties to the front grill.
What's up man. Where in NY you located? Maybe you're local 🤔
Jonnathan Rodriguez buffalo southtowns
are the se and st bumper clips the same?
i would assume so because you can swap the st bumper on to an se car. but I don't know 100%
BrendoST guess i’ll find out 🤪😂 great video bud, thank you 👍🏼
Sankyu
Can you message me how did you plug in ur license plate? Pls
johnpaul sajo it’s just zip tied to the front grill. I shaved the back of the grill with a flap wheel on an angle grinder. It takes a while but it’s nice when it’s finished
Ah hell so I have to really go thru hours worth of unscrewing just to do a grill replacement? 😑
Arianna P the grill just pops out, you don’t need to remove the bumper. And this video is 14 mins long not hrs lol
BrendoST I don't have an ST I just have a normal 2016 SE and I'm scared to "pop it out" and snap off any clips holding it in so I assumed I had to go around from the back
Just pull it out
Do I need to unplug the battery?
Ghoe did you watch the video? Because I didn’t touch the battery lol.
WAFFLE WAFFLE WAFFLE
Take off the headlights and all that, too much work not worth it..i think I'll just use a sawzal and electrical tape
The dude doesn't know what he's doing. HEADLIGHTS DO NOT NEED TO to BE REMOVED!
