Learn to use a professional skateboard bearing press for installing and removing bearings from a skateboard wheel. At the time this video was posted, it was actually the first and only video on RUclips to show how a skateboard bearing press works. Featuring both a Powerdyne and a FKD bearing press. The video starts and ends with Julie Westfall and Vision at Venice Beach Skatepark.

    thank you so much 🙌🙌🙌
having watched your video i did a little research and totally agree with you the fdk press is a quality item.
i did a little more research and just found and bought a used fdk press exactly like this on eBay...
this morning i didn’t even know bearing presses existed 🤔🤔🤔
this evening i’m waiting for one to arrive 🤗🤗🤗
so double double thanks 😆😆😆 🙌🙌🙌
also thank you for the tips and additional information regarding aluminium and steel spacers etc details that though ‘small’ are really useful to know (have told to you)
many thanks for your time and effort 🛹🛹🛹 🙌🙌🙌

Depends on the size of the press and the wheels. Some presses can take larger wheels than others. I haven't tested all sizes but FKD claims up to 65mm and Powerdyne up to 70mm.

Will it work to remove bearings that have steel spaces built in? I ask because the when installed there is no real space in the middle for the set for the remover to latch on to.

@22bskateful - No, sorry. I donated my extra one to The Cove skatepark. So, I don't have one to sell. But you can get them at most online skateshops like SoCalSkateshop or SkatesOnHaight or daddiesboardshop.

They aren't designed as slide wheels. Then again I suppose you can slide ANY wheel if you go fast enough!
