WOW. Christmas 2006. This was arguably my best Christmas ever. Spending time with my Uncles and Cousins playing video games and I was only 4 years old lol.
I was 18 years old and had just graduated high school in 2006. I was on a family trip around Christmas 06, it literally feels as if it was yesterday. Stuff like this always makes me reminisce on what I was doing at the time or what some of my closet friends and family where doing. Feels like a different lifetime.
I remember Christmas 06 well (I was 15 😭) and remember always watching house of wax w/ Paris Hilton over and over on comcast (who remembers comcast?) also drinking the special Pepsi flavors I think it was called jazz?? that were coming out that year. 😋 Mims“this is why I’m hot” snoops “tha blue carpet treatment” games “doctors advocate” and the diplomats “balliiiin” stayed bumping on my iPod nano 😂 I remember discovering punk rock group the clash 🎸 because of “rock the casbah” playing on the radio ads for I think Verizon… speaking of Verizon also remember wanting a “Chocolate” (nobody remembers those) cell phone the first ever mp3 phone pre dating the iPhone but never got one (my mom and sis did tho 🤣) I hated school and was happy to be on ❄️ break.. but I enjoyed New Years better cause I went to 🇲🇽 to visit my relatives for a few weeks 😊 oh the nostalgia 😭
That was Actually the Old Cingular Commercial (Before AT&T Bought it back in August of 2007) that's when I Discovered Rock The Casbah by the Clash as well. I was 8 Years Old in 2006.
When you record the road it brings back good ol memories of my childhood, I traveled the same roads going back and fourth from northern cali to so cal.. good times! Thanks Gil
Hey Gil I was wondering how you convert your old camera video into modern day RUclips I have some old cassettes of an old camera that our parents use to film with and I want to convert those videos into dvd because the old camera we owned has a damaged battery and I can’t seem to find a battery for it

it's amazing how much clearer the picture is compared to the earlier part of the 00s.
Also cars shapes started to change. They look similar to the models today.
