She did great! This is so realist. Everyone doesn't like fontals and closures. I see alot of people commenting that her edges are damaged, but honestly they look a little thin probably because it's less hair out on the side and some people naturally have thinner sides. Doesn't mean it's damaged lol. Great work
Thank you Tamika. I clicked because I've seen so many videos where people are taking out MONTHS OLD weaves that have NOT been washed. Many say you can't wash a weave. Your video shows how to have clean hair while preserving expensive styles. Excellent job.
I love watching hair videos but the comments always annoy me to no end. Everyone follows trends so mindlessly that they think anytime someone does something different it’s wrong. @@natriac.6092 Just putting conditioner on your hair won't revert it back if it's heat damages. Your hair will be permanently straight and it won't revert back unless you cut the permanetly straightened pieces off. Also, if you have bone straight extensions and just have your hair blown out, it will still be puffy and it won't blend in with your extensions. That's just how I see it.
It's nice to see a stylist using the applicator bottle and getting the shampoo on the braids and scalp underneath, and really getting your scalp clean. Nothing is worst than paying your money and coming out still with a smelly, itchy and dirty scalp because the stylist doesn't take the time to get the shampoo on your scalp. Wow I am a hairstylist and me and we’ve are friend enemies. You have taught me something’s I didn’t know. I do use the applicator bottle but I don’t braid the weave. Thank you for the video.
I am totally going to start putting my hair in sections to shampoo. I get so frustrated with the tangled hair after a shampoo, but have thought to actually shampoo the way you do. Thanx!
The hair was super pretty, but I am terrified of the hair underneath not drying 100% when washed. I've heard horror stories of women not getting their hair dry and mold growing and my God it turned me off from sew-ins. That and the itching.
Also some of these females that had moldy sew ins might not be the cleanest ppl I believe if your sew in is 80% dry you’re good I’ve had over 10 sew ins and washed all of them while installed and dried some and sat under a dryer for some and never got mold

They won’t lol. If it’s cold where you live you may want to blow dry them so you don’t get sick but I live in The dessert (very hot rn) so I can wash my hair (braids underneath included) and they just dry np. :)

Michelle W That’s what I was told... when I wore weave, my stylist would ALWAYS dry the braids/wefts underneath completely because damp hair under the weave will mildew.
TooBlessed 2BStressed the hair underneath needed to be dried to prevent and mildew or fungus growth on her natural hair a little dry is better then completely wet.

Why not just take it down and redo it fresh?? It's already loose.
You gonna pay for it?
Probably because she wants to manipulate her hair less frequently for length retention.
Maybe this is cheaper
loose manipulation is better
She can always tighten the sew in

How will the braids dry underneath and overnight?? Wouldn't the braids mildew if not completely dry??🤷🏾♂️
No, because they are already 85-90%dry already.

But its not completely dry. A little dampness can cause mildew cant it?? Thanks
did you miss where she kept her under the dryer for an hr?
