you can add armrest at rear seats plus panoramic sunroof if you please to as well as adjustable headrest too with air purifier and push button windows glass and sun blinds .
Its an emotion....... I learned driving on amby we had amby for nearly 18 years ........

I have to speak to you.I want to buy an Ambassador and customize this the way you did - I have a very nostalgic connection with HM and Ambassador-I was a QARD Engineer and was responsible for final view and testing -has so much to compliant-I would have loved to see what you did in 1986. This was beyond my wild dream to buy it one day with a Rs1800 salary a month and Anby placed those days at Rs95K and Diesel version 1.05L . They used to tell me when I made noises for imperfections of cars going to the dealers that "when you buy we will make it perfect for you."
Your black Amby looks quite like those for the Indian Army Special we used to make-. I was a team member of First ISUZU amby Made for PM when for strength, we had a problem with the brake system with a higher-power car pickup and moment of inertia, Suspension system, engine mounting, differential and of course the the propeller shaft that made a huge noise. the routing of the exhaust pipes was another big story you needed a smooth exhaust ! This was quite a journey. My dream remains to have an Amby and customize it so it's my own -the way you made it majestic, Impressive -awesome -peace of art. But what about the licensing requirement with the age and life of Vehicles in India now. Even though I drive one of the best cars in the world from Toyota ,its Ambassador that pulls me like a magnet It was the first car I loved!
I would love to add a sunroof, and bigger Rear glass(we made a few with the same size of front glass in HM ), and well, an armrest at the rear seat
I feel sad and devastated that this Indian Icon is now a history! HM should have realized how much Indians loved this majestic icon and offered something better -they would have remained the king in Indian Automotive industry even today !
thank you for your kind worlds , even i wish that HM would keep the ambassador alive , giving it a retro / modern avatar . similar to the mini coopers . The ambassador is such an iconic car , even today if you drive a clean example out on the road , people still turn their heads and look . And that look is filled with pride and not envy , that's what the ambassador has in character which cannot be had with any other luxury car brand out there.

I was randomly searching for a restoration videos for my Ambassador 1997 (white) your videos is good and they did a pretty good job. Paint finishing is done well. Please refer who did this fabulous job because I would like to make my amby pretty looking just like yours😊.
Thank you , my car was painted in a garage near in Cochin Kerala , they did most of the restoration work also . +91 97471 43417 this is their number . The onwer of the garage is called Prasad .
