On carbon fiber cover pieces, I have found that to cover up any stock surfaces that may be seen around the edges of the covers, apply black vinyl tape/wrap on the stock surfaces before installing the covers. The vinyl tape/wrap does not need to be very wide, just wide enough to cover the exposed stock surface. By during this the stock color (in your case tan interior) will not show because the black tape is over the stock surface. This help too to hide chrome surfaces that the carbon fiber covers do not fully cover.
I pulled the trigger and added these two pieces. They do look nice and then most challenging part was using tweezers to get the double sided tape cover off.
