I ordered these in brush metal mid-way thru the video. I have a black '15 SRT 392 and the effect is fantastic. Blacks out the entire side of the car yet still are super bright so they do what side markers are supposed to do - add safety.
I have a couple of tips to share -
1) If you have trouble prying the red tab up to unlock the connector and are afraid of breaking it you can push the red tab up from the bottom. Pause at 4:41 of the video and look to the right of his thumbnail. All four of my SM lights were very difficult to pry up from the top. Pushing up from the bottom made quick work of it for me. In addition, I used a little silicone grease around the receptacle on the SM before slipping the connector back on
2) If you have the stock airbox you do not have to remove it entirely. Just remove the cover and the filter and you can reach the Left side marker thru the opening in the lower part of the airbox.

Unfortunately my forearm is to big to fit in lower part of stock airbox. Guess I'll be taking it out to get the last light in place 🤣 the other 3 look great so far. Thanks for the recommendation. I also have the Destroyer Grey and got the same as you in the vid 👍🏻

Very nice. Very interested. I hope they have them for chargers. Dude your little guy is not so little anymore. He did great with the camera. I know you see him everyday. But all I remember is this little kid riding his bike and playing while you worked on the car. Lol. Now to hear his voice and maturing is crazy. These LED sidemarkers look amazing and easy to install! The link you have goes to a tint kit (not the actual light). I don't see the already tinted LED light on Luxe website :-(

Where did you get those side skirts from? Those look perfect on that.
Those are from ZL1 Addons, they attach to the car by adding 5 Jack pads to your pinch weld, looks good and adds safe placed to jack up the car while adding some rocker panel protection. Are the Luxe side markers a reflector in addition to being a lamp? The OEM units are, as required by law. I have the Axial version of these and they are not reflectors.
Similar to how the light from the bulb shines through the reflection, also shines through the luxe tint.

I’m looking at buying the tazer for my 2016 scat pack manual challenger. When putting it in track mode to have the exhaust all the way open does the steering from sport to track change a lot. Also do you know for sure if using this doesn’t void warranty. Your videos are great and have helped a lot. Also most likely going to buy to zl1 addons rear diffuser you made a video on.

Check out the Zautomotive warranty info they explain how that works. The track mode changes the steering a little and the throttle response a lot. Are you just looking to keep the active exhaust open or do you plan to use the other features? ruclips.net/video/Q5sOpe1FfI0/видео.html
I like the ability to put it in default mode when driving on the highway that’s why I was looking at the tazer and not the MFER 1. Thanks for the response!
Also is there no way to customize track mode like you can with sport mode where I could put steering to sport or default instead of track and or change the the throttle response to sport or default?
When I was using it there was an option to adjust the steering, I believe you could also do the shifts , but I’m a manual so I didn’t have that. The throttle response was not adjustable. Not sure about the later models

I can't seem to find the led marker lights any more. Do they still still them? The links in your video seam to go to the tint, at least I'm assuming it's not all 4 markers for $25. Any idea if they still sell these or be were I could get my hands on a full led side marker kit?

You can ordered them from American Muscle and they are the same product but cheaper (which is the reason luxe stopped selling them)

Luxe was a higher price because they tinted the lights, tested them and provided a 1 year warranty.
Luxe dropped the product because they found the quality of the product slipping and a high fail rate during pre ship QC.

I was driving my 2016 challenger scat pack shaker today and recognized any time I get above 4000 rpm the exhaust gets extremely loud. I have a mid muffler delete and that’s it. I was wondering if when you get above 4000 rpm do the active exhaust valves open up completely like it would in track made of I purchased the Tazer device?
4000 is near the sweet spot and when you are on it that’s when the active exhaust is open.
Are you just looking for the active exhaust fix or are you interested in other features the Tazer offers?

No sadly I never found a replacement. All of the LEDs I’ve come across go bad within a year or so.

Got a 2020 widebody challenger, trying to get the replacement led side marker lights wrapped in dark honeycomb. I hit the link for challengers but it takes me to a side marker tint kit. Tried searching for side marker replacements on luxe’s website but no results. Am I doing something wrong or should I just give them a call?
They stopped selling these sorry. I have not looked for a replacement set for my widebody yet, I kind of like the look of my OEM set tinted

To void the warranty they would need to prove the modification caused the issue. I do all my own repairs, I don’t take the car in also nothing serious has failed yet.

Hey guys! I was just wondering - is there any way to get a set of rear side markers for 2018 SRT 392 Challenger in orange? No matter where I search I always find only the red ones. The thing is red side markers are not legal where I live, only orange ones, so the front ones are functional while the rear ones need to be plugged off and it looks kinda weird. Thanks a lot for your help!
I don’t think they are sold in orange. Do you just want a matching set?
Well a matching set of all four would be great - with the only requirement for the rear markes to be orange. But even if there were only the two rear ones sold separately I'd go for it. For now I have all four stock markers in but the rear ones just need to be plugged of the harness so they don't light up. Thanks a lot, man! Keep up the good work, love your videos! ;)
It looks like Luxe doesn't carry the actual LED replacements. All I see is the overlay tint, can you confirm?
Yes the LED taillights are no longer sold by Luxe.

Interesting I bought a set of LEDs on Amazon for $99 bucks they were already smoked. I wonder what LEDs Luxe is using.
They are using an untinted version so they can apply any lightwrap share and finish you want.
We are using a similar light, but we weren't happy with the smoke shade on their tinted lights, so we made our own. Also their version has that weird matte/textured edge around the gloss which we didn't like. Using LightWrap we can fix the edge and also tame the output of the light a bit.
Cool thanks for the details if mine ever fail I will have to check out a set. On a related note do u know if anyone makes transparent color vinyl? Back when I got my Hellcat in 2017 Oracle was selling LED sidemarkers painted to match body color for some ridiculous price around $400. It would be cool if nearly the same affect could be done with vinyl.
Transparent vinyl is pretty sweet anything can be printed on it. Not sure who’s printing color matched transparent yet though.

Nope these came tinted, but unfortunately they have been out of stock for a few months.

What about inspection.This is driving me nuts because I know if they can fail me they will.
Are usually go to my local Guy and get a private inspection. Same sticker the only difference is they are very lenient on the visual mods and only strict on the emissions.

No you don't.... the tint is translucent so they still visibly reflect when a light shines on them. The shade and the finish will affect how much, but it is not completely gone.

They are brighter than stock even with dark tint, but not annoying to other drivers ☝️ I don’t see them being an issue.

So I may the only challenger like this...
I installed my front 2 side marker lights.....Easy...
However, the rear I cant...I have zero access as you did.
The resonator and muffler ate right there...I see no access point which makes me mad.....I'll have to ask my mechanic for help. I can't get under the car, but again no access

As soon as I try reaching up as you did, there is the aluminum muffler and resonater...
I guess the only way is popping off the cover behind wheel well or maybe once the car is on a lift maybe my mechanic will be able to get in there better

So I got my smoked side marker lights installed.
I had to pop out 2 clips on both wheel wheels and unscrew 2 screws. I snuck my hand in and popped out the red side lights.
The black looks so sweet.
