When I installed these last year I was able to reach the fronts from under the hood, but I did have to lift up the air cleaner box (only one screw). For the rears I was able to reach them from below the car without opening the wheel wells and without having to jack up the car. One thing to be aware of is that the original factory side marker lamps are also reflectors as required by DOT/Federal standards. These Axial replacements are not reflectors.
You dont need to go through the wheel well on the back, just stick your head under the car and you'll see it. Also the stock 15+ marker is led not incandescent
@@frederickgrayson5177Not on the front driver side. You will have to either remove the air filter or remove the rivets as shown in the video. There is no other option. Prying with a pry tool risk a 80% chance of snapping the clip.

You dont have to take clips out in the back, You can do it for underneath the car!!😀
I agree, no need to remove clips

Just reach under the car and push them out. You can also use a trim removal tool to just pry them out. No need to remove rivets.
It would be cool to tint those since they emit light from all of the surface
Ordered mine (for charger) yesterday, and they were on sale for $49. Not a bad deal. Looking forward to install/review.
Thanks for watching! -Zach
It sounds like the push clips are reusable? Should I have spares handy in case I break any when removing?
If you are talking about the front side markers the can be reached from under the hood without fooling with the wheel wells.
@@frederickgrayson5177 no, the other clips 02:18
@@leban86 There is no need to remove those clips and pry the wheel well open. You can reach the back side of the lights from under the hood.
