You've turned me (and others) into Pavlov dogs. You post to RUclips and we start salivating haha. I don't remember why vinegar would be added to the caramel sauce, so I clicked over on your recipe link, and then searched "vinegar caramel" to get to your 3 caramel recipes which blows my mind how much you care about the knowledge and recipes you share. And the reason for vinegar is to hinder crystalization in your caramel recipe here. You rock!
Thank you so much for referencing the article(s) After I produce a RUclips video, I often say, “ah, I should have said this Or I really should have talked about that…” Then I say, “well I’ve got to keep it short here to attract more viewers since my audience retention is at around 2 minutes” 😖 So yeah my website is chock full of added info!! Thanks again for your awesome support 🥳
Everything you make looks delicious! I’ve been vegan for 19 years, however, just started vegan baking as a business two years ago. You make vegan baking looks so good! I’m a very excited and new subscriber to your channel as well as your Instagram! Soon to buy your book.❤❤ Thank you for sharing your masterpieces!!
totally agree! The caramel part would be cooked into the custard part of the buttercream since that recipe is super fragile when it comes to adding flavors
This looks delicious, my daughter's birthday party is next week, and I think I'll try this. One question I have is about the plant milk you added to the caramel, did you beat it to thicken it? I'm in Australia and our plant milks dont look that thick. Or could i use the creamy part of coconut milk?
@@GretchensVeganBakery Does the caramel turn out okay if not using coconut milk/cream/fat, like soy milk, almond, oat etc. I cannot use this product. It looks so yummy!
@@nancyneyedly4587 I think using a vegan cream would be better than using a thin milk like almond. Maybe soy milk could also work? But if I didn't have coconut cream, i would probably use something like cashew cream. You can make cashew cream yourself too! Soak cashews, put them in a blender with some water and you're done
