I'm not trying to sound like a smartass, but have you ever been to jail? It really doesn't matter if you're kept away from the other inmates or not. Problems always occur.

@@baronjellykrak3739 I've been in the hole. They let inmates out of their cell an hour a day one at a time. You eat in your cell. You never have anything other than verbal contact with other inmates and this is because they can yell at each other out the grill in their door. If Schaffer was placed in Protective Custody this is how his time would be spent.

My entire fathers side of family if added up probably has over 300 years total prison time since 1940's That might be an understatement and NO I am not bragging nor am I proud but have known many people (family) and have visited a prison over 50 times in my life in 14 different prisons in total. I agree with there being problems but if you go to jail, and from what I understand he was quite an ass. These types of things will get you checked when down, depending on what certain people felt about what he did, that may have had a big influence on his troubles as well. BTW where was you down, Harry? I have visited many prisons, in the Midwest and east coast.

It's interesting how he can be charged with trespassing when there's video of Capitol police moving barriers and people being ushered in. Obviously I don't excuse his actions. or use of bear spray against police who did nothing wrong. He has to pay for that, if he did it, but the cops literally, on video, let them in a public building.

Many inmates deal with a lot worse abuse in jails and prisons than that - the American (in)justice system and prison system are horrible and not much better than a Third World country.

Iced Earth were a GREAT band in the 90s. Not so much nowadays. They were one of the first U.S. metal bands to sign to Century Media (CM was German label at the time) next to European bands like Despair (German band), Asphyx, Morgoth, etc. Same guy that did over art for Morgoth and Asphyx also did cover art for "Iced Earth" and "Night of the Stormrider" albums. Without I.E. 90s contributions (Nevermore too), CM would have been stuck as a German label and never branched out to the U.S. and U.K. I give respect where it's due. Jon is a tool but Iced Earth put that label on the map. Know your roots.

Special treatment makes inmates angry. They see him as a jailed princess that didn't take it as a man. That's the price of 'going trumped all the way' and went civil-war type for a man that doesn't give a damn about his well-being; instead of having ideals, vote and accept the results as a civilized citizen.

Kind of hard to feel sorry for a guy who has death threats made against him in prison when all those officers who were trying to protect the capitol and it's inhabitants from a violent mob that he was an enthusiastic member of were beaten, crushed in doors, bear sprayed and feared for THEIR lives by being outnumbered the way they were on January 6th. Poor guy felt threatened by a couple of inmates when those guys' lives were threatened by a mob which outnumbered them thousands to one
Let’s not forget the people who also work at the prisons who constantly get death threats, which is a normal thing in prison. Him saying all this isn’t some groundbreaking new thing. Prison sucks. Simple as that. If he didn’t want to go, then he should have stayed home.

In your so called democratic society you should be able to protest. He made a mistake entering the capital but he should not be persecuted for that.
