This is very easy to do! I've also linked to all pertinent information and some great options in the comments and right here. Also for fun, leave a comment guessing how many times I called the SSD a "hard drive" before watching! -Destin

DON'T just force your faceplate of the PS5 to open by preasuring "a little"
There is actually a mechanic which allows you to easally remove the plate without ripping it of like a berserker xD
If u grap the top right corner and just move it a little up wards (directions seen when console layd down) and hold it like this while you push the plate downwards :)
Its just two little nops on each top rear corner which holds each plate in place so you just want to put them out of there hole :)

@Fast Zombie or he just doesn't make enough. You have to calculate the fun he missed on the ps5 and also divide the cost for the people who purchased early. If people invested their money and made a significant amount the entry $500 would not really affect them. Easier said than done but definitely possible.

As soon as sony made that claim, Sabrent released a drive that was faster. Marketing nonsense. IF you check some reviews where they test load times you can actually see that some drives ARE faster than the built in one, not only on paper but in action too.
