01. The response time gives information about how fast different actuators effect the different outputs of the system.
02. one simple approach is to use the throttle and the wastegate to control the intake manifold pressure and the EGR-valve to control the EGR-ratio.
03. For good control performance, the throttle should be in a position to be able to both increase and decrease the pressure.
04. The first two actuators could be in series where the throttle gives the faster response due to the response time analysis.
