I will replace my frisco bar with a 2 inch thicc one 14 inches tall, and external wiring looks awful so this video showing how is perfect!! thanks Doc you know your stuff well!
I will be doing this soon as my winter project is Blacking out the chrome on my Road King. Will be ordering the bars soon and I am waiting for JRD Restoration to finish powder coating my wheels also. What a small world!
@@DrHarley This is my first time going to him but he was recommended by my co-worker who has done parts with him in the past. I could not do the wheels myself but I tried to do all of the other smaller parts myself at home.
@@DrHarley I'm not sure when he going to have my wheels done. He said he would try to get to them this past week but I understand he is busy. Just waiting patiently. I'm trying to keep this project Stretch low budget but it is adding up quick LoL
Want to put some Kraus T bars on my 2020 street glide. Wasn't sure if I could install myself so I called my local dealer......ballpark they quoted me for the install was 12 hrs @ $150 an hour. I was like " F them bars!!! my stock bars are all of the sudden looking pretty good" LOL. Got home, decided to look on you tube, between your vid and Michael Bertini ( ruclips.net/video/B7yvO0KBEEY/видео.html ) vid, I thnk I'll be fine doing it myself. Thank you for taking the time to show us how to do the part I was worried about the most.
I am so glad that you found some value on my video's . Yes the dealerships can be quite costly and that job does not take 12 hours. They charge book time. Assuming that you never installed a set of bars, figure 4 too 6 hours. Take your time and it will turn out great,

Let Ms know if I can be a help. I have been using JRD for over 5 years now. I will be dropping off parts to him on Tuesday for project Spaceball.
