Thanks for the update. I was wondering what was going on with the audio on the other one

Great analysis! One thing you didn't mention but alluded to later: In that overhead shot of the pool in the finale, Kendal is alone in the pool with his arms outstretched in a "Christ-like" manner.

This is an incredible and mind-blowing deep-dive.... many thanks to Conflux for the time and research. Side note: I am a VFX artist, and the two shots you show from Harry Potter starting at 6:14 (from the last film Deathly Hallows Part II) were composited by me. They are in my VFX Reel. That film was my first job after I moved to LA in 2010 - so it is dear to me. In my own almost-insignificant way, to see that reference featured in an analysis for one of my favorite TV shows brings things full circle for me.

I'm late to the Succession series party. I just ended season 2 and was silently hoping and sort of expecting for this ending. I felt Ken finally got to notice Logan's hint when he claimed his son wasn't "a killler" thus not to be selected as successor but to be a weak , take the fall publicly mouse.

What do you mean though? Did he think his dad was a fine guy before he heard that word? Surely he must have known that his father was intimately connected with the Cruise debacle.

Why do people say that Ken killed the waiter? The waiter steered the car off the road. Ken had nothing to do with the car going off the road. It would have been better for the two if they hit the deer instead. It also wasn’t Ken’s fault that he didn’t have the lung capacity to free the waiter from the underwater car.

They say he killed the waiter because he knowingly manipulated a guy in his early twenties to sell and consume drugs. Most people say that the waiter's erratic steering of the car was heavily influenced by the drugs he did in an earlier scene. Also, he wouldn't have been jn the car in the first place if Kendall didn't ask him to so....

@@xavier-michaelmuli165I understand your reasoning, but you can kinda blame a lot of people with that logic, you could say the waiter wouldn’t have died if it weren’t for Tom and Shiv having their wedding there.
