- Have YOU or someone you know been broken into recently? At GPS, our line of security films are designed to deter and deny forced entry into your home, providing you with added peace of mind. Watch this video to see the difference our product makes....
After talking to a security consultant, they recommended putting the film on both sides of all 1st floor glass, plus sealing/attaching the edges w clear silicon bead.
Only 640 views? Great video. I had to go down the youtube rabbit hole pretty far to find your video. Well worth it.
I recon that a thief after realising the glass isn’t going to shatter, and that they’re making way too much noise would have them moving on to an easier target pretty quickly. Great demonstration!
Very good
The film deadens the noise of the breaking glass...may not trigger alarms that listen for breaking glass.
I give you credit for using the sealant around the edge of the frame - the frame edge is the weakest part of the window, just crack the window and push in the edge
of the window along the frame.
Ideally, the film would be mounted inside the frame....but that is not always possible, and requires taking the window apart.
Great demonstration...Can I get permission to use it in advertising the product up here in the philly area...My head spins with the potential...I have a 30 year old Remodeling company and I'm looking to niche as I'm retiring....Do you have a per square foot cost?
Where do I buy the Film and the roll holder?
Would it make sense to do both sides for more security!
Is there a big difference between 7-8mil as far as delay entry goes? Will 7mil get the job done?
woow that is amazing !!
That looked like you enjoyed that.
Can you just supply the film?
Looks like if you kicked it with all your body, that sealant would disengage and fall inside, no?
wouldn't you just kick one side to get it loose from the attachment and then just push it in?? it seems like a lot of these demonstrations are over exaggerating the resilience to impact.
this would be great on vehicles
Your front window is already tempered glass.
I believe the film would slow down a rescue operation in an accident.
What did you guys use as a sealent around the edge?
Likely to be Clear Silicone sealant.
@Jared_Pinkard on another video a guy mentions "attached" referring to using 'structural adhesive caulk' on the frame where it meets the film.
The industry standard is Dow Corning 995. 3M also has one called "Impact Protection Adhesive". They both perform the same.
Whoa.
Clever how you kept hitting it in a different place every time. Try hitting it in the same place with a metal rod, not a wooden baseball bat that absorbs the blows.
We agree, which is why a metal bat, not a wooden bat, was used in the demonstration.
All the best...
You missed the point. It's about delaying and buying you time, not impenetrable fortress.
Nice half swings on your product 😂😂😂😂
No one carries around a baseball bat...burgulars are using bars and those window shattering devices.
Can’t someone just slice the film down the middle?
The film is on the inside of the glass.
it's on the inside...So, no.
Sliced the film down the middle that’s funny
How gullible can you people possibly be. Hes hitting the thing at about 25 percent strength.
Hi Michael, thanks for your comment.
With weight, height and arm strength varying so much amongst a broad range of potential theives' profiles, our objective is to demonstrate a power amount that falls into an average range, so as not to mislead viewers. All the best....
Regardless it still takes time to get through the window times that thieves do not want to spend
Weak hits. One kick would bring the panel inn.
