I have a full Advetiser (local newspaper here in South Australia) from 1994, 1997, 1999 and 2001. Each from around when my kids were born and birth announcements in the paper. 1997 one was sad, cover has the death of Princess Diana. 😢
Oh that's so awesome Trude and indeed I remember being on my first PC as a kid when Princess Diana passed away and running out of the back room to watch the news 😢

Thanks for going out and exploring these abandoned places it is so interesting when when you find magazines and newspapers from 40 to 50 years ago plus which time stamps them and I have memories of those years and seeing the decline in what was once some ones home Regards Trevor

G'day.. Just watched.. I was tackling mozzies! Wow.. That was great.. 50 year old papers.. Amazing that they are still intact. No frogs on the wall.. poor kid.. Should have looked up the chimney with leaves in it.. l bet there was a nest up there.. leaves fallen down.. That plough thingy, its off a 'seeder'.. to plant the crop. Sad about the piano. too hard to move them in the good old days.. Maybe real ivory too. Ahhh.. Even 'budgie smuggler' adds.. ha ha.. And a Bickfords iced coffee bottle. We still buy that to this day.. the best iced coffee mix. Alpine lights, mums old cigarettes.. Imagine the stuff under those floor boards. That was soo good Drew. Takecare.. 🦘🎄🦘

Lots to see in there! My old 1910 home in Rosewater I pulled up the lino in the main room and found Friday April 19 1912 Advertiser p7 THE TITANIC CATASTROPHE..,Women & children safe ....life equipment inadequate...goes on with more about the tragedy...I have it in a glass frame.
I'm so glad you kept it Lynton. What a great find that old clipping would have been. I think the oldest newspaper I have here at home is from the 1960s from my late pop being in the newspaper for his work. Magazines / gloss publication wise I have a copy of the 1995 Adelaide Grand Prix programme 😍
