I agree.....I feel like it would be much cooler/more impactful if it gave you three random options, instead of just two - and perhaps they started with that design in mind. But it's clear from the first randomly generated set, that some of them are rather lengthy and putting all three on the card might have been problematic at times, so it's possible they had to bring it down to two for interface/clarity reasons. I just can't see them having this design initially and being like "Yes, this is it. The new Druid Legendary. So power. Much wow."

I thought that at first too but two things: one, immediately realized that would be a huge text/interface issue, how would they should you 20+ options if you held it for ten turns. It's probably not even a power level issue, there's no way that would be too strong compared to some effects they print....it's just entirely unrealistic. The other thing is, sometimes the way they word cards IS confusing, but it's cleared up as soon as you play it. The first time you see this in action, you completely understand how it functions, so it doesn't matter how it's worded beyond that point. I think for that reason they just aren't that worried about how they word things, because they know if nothing else you will figure out how it works the first time you see it played. That's a luxury physical card games don't have, since players have to control how the cards function, but in a digital space, the game makes everything work the way it's supposed to.
While the star gazer looks powerful and quite scary, I am so relieved that it was questline Guff the title was referring to and not the hero card. Guff is just one of those trigger words that sends me into an stress-induced seizure.
I look forward to the Tavern Brawl where your deck is full of 30 Uluu, the Everdrifters and they all cost 1 and have 1/1 (or I guess 2 and 2/2). Won't happen but can dream
This legendary sux, arguably it is even worse than laura. Does basically nothing in standard, kinda alright to run in wild but you have to live a lot of turns for it to stop rolling bad options that transform it into a bad minion and stuff.
I think people are sleeping on the legendary. Looking at the pool, most of the choose one options are really good, and the card is super aggressively stated too. I think that if there is an aggressive Druid deck, this card is a key piece. It might have to wait for rotation, but I’m thinking people are undervaluing it at the moment
It says "gain" but it looks like you only hold one Choose One state at a time. And it doeant pop off unril you've held it for a turn. I actually don't see a spot for Uluu UNLESS we get some solid synergy, maybe duplixatinf Choose Ones. The draenei dude who combines the next choose one is atill legal though if I remembwr correctly 🤔
Uluu is gonna go the way of shifter zerus/chameleos/whatever the shaman one was if you point out the highrolls you can make it sound insane, but the reality for these cards has always been you can't just wait around with it in your hand and hope it transforms into what you want it to transform into. even if you do get a dreamy result, you may not be able to cast it that turn due to something more pressing, and then it's gone at the start of your next turn. the power level of cards you can put into your deck that do what they're supposed to do 100% of the time is plenty high enough already, no need to rely on something like this just too awkward and clunky, unplayable trash, but will make for a few funny highlights where it actually does something
FINALLY! A demonstrable example of powercreep, and Zeddy didn't even acknowledge it 😢 (He mentioned Ironbark Protector but offered no direct commentary on it)
So far the cards that have been revealed excite me but not that much. I would have liked to see another type of expansion, something completely different that moved away from what we are now used to seeing. the legendaries look nice and especially this new introduction of the spaceship and the construction of this spaceship to counter the opponent's board. A question I want to ask you because if you're a fairly nice and visionary guy what would you have liked to see completely different Instead of this expansion I'm curious to know your answer. I think Uluu is excellent, I think what Zeddy's missing might be the 'each turn this is in your hand' aspect, if this sits there for 5 or more turns it's getting pretty stupid. Cards like that have seen play in the past, the minimum value of 1 choice is alright, and the max value is a whopper.
Aaa this minion kills a future hunter deck. Only 8 mana best was the horse so you could make a deck around bananas, monkeys, muscle brew, moltenshaper and more to summon the thunderbringer at turn 5 or 6 with hunters weapon.
@@tarille1043 Extra finishing power depending on board state might have spell damage or a concierge on board most counters to concierge druid are high health boards and thinking you have enough time to play slower what better way to surprise them then hit them with the highest boost druid gets sometimes you use the coin sometimes you have a concierge on board and BAM
i think the druid legendary is one of the baddest legendarys in existing. To random and to much bad "choose" effects exist what you can play cheaper as 5 mana. Also this card is absolutly bad and i can bet this card will be never played. But extrem shit legendary cards must exist because this are than the legendary you draw from the packs and you are not happy with it.
dont forget the current one that summons 2 random locations That one is also very bad but blizzard just keeps printing bad cards or good ones just to fill the packs it seems

Does the Druid legendary work with the Titans forge spell which draws and activates both choose one effect for the card you draw ? Also, there IS a 4 cost minion which activates BOTH choose one effect, in standard rotation.

Star Gazer against Reno decks is a great card in fact, because after the Reno effect you can do things just with him and a spell.

Uluu shouldn't say "gain" but "switch between".
The word gain suggests that it keeps all of those random Choose One options.

That is shame you cannot target your own minion with phaser. I like dormant things to set things up. It is more interactive-able than just mana cheat.
