Cloud couldn't have asked for a better friend. Hoping for a dual Omni-Slash in the final game.
Honestly. I somehow hope Cloud comes up with a new omnislash since Sephiroth already knows the other two, and maybe we see Zack use the first one since he copies limits
@@sofaking5009 Same! That's roughly what I meant. Either they do it simultaneously or one after the other, I'll be satisfied. Always been a silly childhood dream of mine since Advent Children.
I always wondered how the story would have turned out if Zack lived. He and Cloud would eventually just join Avalanche as Mercs I guess.
90% of the story would have been easier if they had Zack as a member of the gang lol. He was very strong
Probably too easy
I love how one of Zack's main quirks is to do squats anywhere he likes.
the guy's gotta have his body in check, it's motivating for me tbh
Rip Zack He was a Great Soldier
He was a Hero
@@TobiBRBR yea a hero and good dude that help his friends rest in peace
dont worry, there are others infinite Zack in other infinite mutltiverses 🙂
@@sliferskydragon9798 oh I thought he was dead but yea hopefully he not faked his own death
They better let zack live in the last part, he's been through enough sh*t just to die again
In this Remake version, Sephiroth wants to merge the timelines so they will definitely bring Zack back in Part 3. He will most likely be a party member with Cloud. We just gotta wait for another 4 or 5 years for Part 3 lol.
@@marksullivan00 I dont mind the waiting as long as they don't toss him with some "destiny can't be changed BS"
If I'd want him dead I'd play either original or Crisis Core
@ Same I agree.
@@marksullivan00 Would keep my expectations low tbh. Zack will definitely have a huge role. But we probably won't see him active till the second half. Or like towards the end. Hopefully Zack gets a prominent role next game. Instead of being stuck in midgar or a dying world.
@ Hopefully he lives and gets a happy ending. Since Aerith chose Cloud... Our boy still has best girl Cissnei. Though he might just end up in the lifestream with Aerith too.
I understood absolutely nothing about the entire part involving Zack when playing Rebirth for the first time.
I only understood it was another world where Cloud and Aerith lived with that guy, and the others (Tifa, Barret...) died from the fall of Sector 7 plate. A world where Cloud couldn't make it to join Avalanche and go with them chase Sephiroth. So it's two worlds, one with Zack and Aerith and the other with Tifa, Barret, RedXIII and the others.
Now that you see the background in the original FFVII and in Crisis Core, yes it totally make sense. In the main world, Zack and Aerith both die, and in the secondary world, everyone dies except the two. The only ones who are alive in both worlds are Cloud and Sephiroth. This could be reason why Cloud seems to cope really well with Aerith's death in the main world (because he still sees her in the secondary world).
First of all, I don't understand at all why the flashback explaining the true origins of Cloud and Zack wasn't shown in the Rebirth... It's the key element to understand what happens. It's the key thing that makes you understand that there can only be one buster sword by world. If you see two, this means you're in an inbetween. By not showing it, it made the whole ending confusing and not interesting for new players especially. You have no idea Zack is supposed to be dead in the main world without it. It's an immense failure from the scenarists... I guess they planned to do it in Part3, but it's so stupid to say to people you have to play Part3 to just understand what happened in the end of Part2...
Anyway, thank you for doing that edit.
Now I'm entirely sure that the "Reunion" of worlds in Part 3, will make every world collapse except the one where Aerith and Zack die but where Cloud has the buster sword, has his whole squad with him, where he has a chance to stop Sephiroth for good. (even though after defeating him two times already, the scenarists better find a legitimate reason as to why defeating him the 3rd time is the one that ends him.. This is required!)
Everything about Cloud and Zack past is explained in crisis core reunion released last year.
They also have to explain Cloud past during his coma in part 3 so...
I think explaining the same thing 3 times would be a lot, you already have it in crisis core reunion and it will be remade in part 3
@@davidbourlot8175 As far as I'm concerned, Crisis Core isn't in the series of the Re-Final Fantasy VII . I didn't even know the game was released last year, I thought it was older.
The end result is simply the following : the ending of Part II is a mess you can't understand or try to unless you have played other spinoffs or if you remember well a game you have played 25 years ago. I don't think it's normal for a remake to requiee you to do the original story back and play other spin-off just to understand the ending of the main story. If you think it's the case, you might as well say FFVII Rebirth is not meant for new players to discover FFVII but only serves as paying tribute for fans of that game. But I can't disagree more with that personally. The game should've been more accessible
@@bend.7590 No it shouldn't be a requirement to play the OG game and the spinoffs to understand the story of the remake. The only requirement is to have played FFVII Remake since it's its sequel.
You are not going to make any new fans if you make the game impossible to understand unless you know in advance the events of the story the game is remaking. By chance, FF7 Rebirth only failed its very last ending, because everything else is stellar, and will still attract new fans. But how can we not be disappointed.. Even OG fans should be disappointed at Aerith's final scene being destroyed by the presence of those flying mops, the camera not showing Sephiroth stabbing Aerith clearly like in the OG, Cloud ignoring Aerith, removing the scene where he puts her body into the river...
The OG game being 3 decades olds is only more of a reason to refresh everyone's memory, it's been 25 years now, it's normal to have forgotten things since then.

"Let's bring it home!" 💪
Zack: Great minds!
I need more of that banter! They are truly two peas in a pod! Not sure if it's Zack's memories influencing Cloud or they're just that good of friends.
He’s not dead anymore but alive… sort of
I only played the og CC btw,so which is the canon event for zack?
Zack goes through some bullshit no matter what universe
I wished one scene where Zack actually lives. He can join with Avalanche and stop Sephiroth
Cloud stopped Sepiroth
@@billybatts8283 Sure, but if done right. Having both finally put an end to Sephiroth would be awesome. Along with Aerith, 3v1
Rebrith ALL ENEMIES COMPARISON soon ?
Zack did not die in rebirth
