- We got an extra helping of felting goodness this month, as The Makerss celebrated their 9th birthday with a felty fete. Those of us unable to attend in person were invited to the virtual version, which included a goody bag, workshops and other fun stuff live-streamed throughout the event.

Thank you Liz, I'm glad you enjoyed this little peek at my "day out" - I'm going to do some more mice now I have the hang of it, it was surprisingly quick to do, even for a slowpoke like me :)

hehe I know, I'm lucky that I so rarely stab myself, because I can be very clumsy in lots of ways, but I seem to mostly be ok with felting, this was unusual, ending up with two finger holes :)

Thank you Annie for your video and sharing your day and makes with us. That mouse is way too cute. It sounds like you had a lot of fun on the day. I have tried 2D felting on a landscape and enjoyed it but it was a teeny tiny bit of the workshop and I never ventured into figures. Might be the right time to take up another hobby, well would be rude not to really. 😂
Ah you should try it Carol, honestly it's way easier than I expected and very forgiving, because you can always rectify any booboos :)
What a sweet, wee sleekit tim'rous beastie! (None of the Yanks will get this reference, lol.) I adore her and the heart is so good! She's really terrific, Annie. You're so talented! Thank you kindly Lindsey - the wee beastie went to a new home with my friend for her birthday, it was very hard to let her go, but Trina loved her and I'm sure she'll be happy in her craft room :)
