Yaaaaaay you have more time to art and create!!! I remember a time in your vlogs where you were not able to make that a priority due to all the things business wise that needed to be done and we’re finding it difficult to balance and thrive as a creative (art biz is a double edge sword, need to make the art to fuel the business, plus do all the business/admin things to actually run the business so you can continue to make art); it’s so awesome to see you now have that time to focus on creating 🎨 Balancing is hard and it’s so nice to see you are able to have that balance with an employee/friend like James 😃 Also, i looooove how transparent you are about all the things, your rad authenticity is so refreshing, the fact you can also laugh at yourself and just be you is happy 😊 P.S. your table might need some cross bars or a shelf like your were mentioning lol just looks a tad wobbly, would hate for it to give way if stacks of your store stuffs were on it, cause paper is like a million pounds o_O but it’s probably nice to have something higher than the make shift shelf piece - which also looked cool with the lil pop of colour/industrial element - that was temporarily in place, and awesome James was able to put it together for studio use 👍

i really enjoy watching your videos 😍and when I'm free I watch the podcasts as well. Do you use references while painting landscapes ? And if you do, I would like to know how do you simplify it into shapes and still be able to use different colours? I am in a phase where I am enjoying painting a lot of landscapes but sometimes I have trouble being free and use an interesting colour palette, and they turn out to be pretty boring...
I use references for all of my drawings and paintings! I try to focus on the shapes and lights of the reference I’m using. Starting with big shapes and working down to small!
Omg your sketch of the lilies 🤩 does your posca not peel the paper while you draw? I feel like unless I use really smooth paper, my posca markers will peel up the paper if I’m not careful
