It's so nice to see so many women playing D&D these days. When I started playing back in the 70's and 80's it was almost unheard of for girls to play. We did get one of our friend's sisters to play but even she was like 'this is really a game for guys' back then.

Dee and Evelyn have both forgotten that they have multiple attacks, and Chris Perkins isn't reminding them. Getting multiple attacks is the major benefit of being paladins and fighters... It's kind of frustrating to watch.
Not even short rest mechanics for the time spent in the tower? I'm sure Evelyn would have appreciated the HP she should have received from her cuddle time with Dee. Eh...
I mean actually though. I think that Chris is not obeying the short rest mechanics at all, and hasn't the whole campaign... I'm glad I'm not the only one who is frustrated. Is anyone else sad that Strix left behind that staff? It seems like Diath really should have a magic weapon by now or that Evelyn should regularly be casting magic weapon on Diath's weapon...

If you return his lost staff and spell book and heal his mind he can be a very powerful ally against Strahd, pending how close to his Alignment or even his traditional early 1st and 2nd edition charecter the DM plays him as if the DM plays him strictly as his Alignment or is familiar with how the charecter was personality wise in 1st and 2nd edition AD&D Greyhawk adventures then he's going to piss you off, or at least a very useful person to drop Ireena off with after you restore him.

Diath needs a magic weapon so badly. there is no reason at this level that the DM couldnt make a minor magic weapon drop as loot. he gets hosed in most combats
Jared has said that he doesn't really care as much about the combat. He plays a rouge for the outside of combat stuff. Not that you are wrong. Just a tidbit of info

Even though hes been kicking ass the last few episodes, people are still bitching that he should be a part time player like the guests, just because he occasionally has his job get in the way of DnD, which happens in real life in case you didnt know playing it. Keep in mind that this is a side project for all of these people, almost like they're playing a game or something. It's fun DnD for entertainment, just enjoy what you get instead of fantasising about what could be and getting angry it isnt there.

MrKylefitzable I think playing together in person in front of an audience while dressed in cosplay is indeed a different experience but even their online sessions play to an audience. This episode was more theatrical because of their physical presence and audience reaction. What did you mean by more extreme?
Yes. It seems to happen to some degree whenever an actual play does live shows. I find it somewhat disruptive to the point that I prefer the live shows and the regular play to have separate continuity.
They really suffer from most of their characters not having any ranged option. They don't necessarily need another character for it though. Just a little more flexibility in their fighting style(s).
Holly looks way too cute in her cosplay getup to be the filthy wretched critter she described Strix as. The wizard placed a shoddy dispel enchantment on the tower. It didn't temporarily un-magic items or repel magically animated demon blood oozes.
