Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Diagnosis (2019)

Myself and my son have a hypermobile Ehlers-danlos syndrome diagnosis. We were diagnosed at the London Hypermobility Clinic by Dr Brennan in September 2019. Getting this diagnosis has been really helpful, and
we both decided to share our news together.
It was a long, hard road to diagnosis. This is common for people with hypermobility syndrome, since it is poorly understood by many medical professionals. I was diagnosed aged 41 after experiencing symptoms since I was a child. My son has had symptoms since he was 2 and was diagnosed aged 10. More below

A little bit about me:
Hi I'm Purple Ella and my family is an autism family with three out of five of us on the autistic spectrum. I also have a connective tissue disorder (hypermobile Ehlers-danlos syndrome). So life can be a challenge but also a lot of fun.
