Another excellent quality job. Interestingly, I'm almost sure that it's still the same basic cab as the original DAF 95 which was first produced in the late 80s.
At the start of part 1 I expected to see bits a piece of the wrecked cab taken off and replaced with the new pieces it is really cool to see you just replace the whole cab with a new cab

I’m really surprised those XF pods don’t leak more and they hold the heat quite well considering they’re just a fibreglass mould. Decent roomy cab, far better space utilisation than Scania.

Mint job Sebastian, you guys go the extra mile for your customers and no doubt they appreciate it, the truck looks like new now , parts are a pain at the moment, I do normal mechanical and a few insurance jobs (strip and build ) , I had 11 cars and a van on the car park this week , most waiting for bits , I've got a 2018 Ford Ranger that wants an mot , waiting for a headlight and a grille for 4 weeks , had to pay Ford Motor company before they would order the stuff grille arrived , but no sign of the headlamp , back ordered with no date 🙈🙈🙈🙈, I dont want to put a copy one on , so the car is sat at the customers house on his drive , enjoy your weekend with the family at the Truck fest👍👍👍👍👍👍 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

Great insurance repair not there to refurbish trucks just getting them back to pre accident condition. Work for large repairer some cars we are taking 12 months plus to repair due to parts for cars!!
Brilliant job, don’t let the insurance assessor see the speeded up repair or he will be cutting your hours, I thought £48K was not that expensive for the repair but it must have been close to a total loss.
Awesome video, I don’t suppose I can ask your advice? Can the front cab absorber be removed with the cab on without the cab being supported or will it need to be supported for the strut to be removed? Mine has a broken spring
Yes. Best to jack a cab a little to a point that is still in rear locks then lift front cab corner with jack and wood or place a little bottle jack between cab and chsssis. I’ll show how is done in next DAF 2022 video one need change.
Looks to me Benton would be better to have depot at Spalding ? as most of his vehicles spend most of their time there saves going through Boston tho lol Or better still pay more and get proper drivers , You only get Monkeys if you pay Peanuts. Sebastian you will soon be able to rebuild a DAF with your eyes shut ? thanks to Benton lol

Whilst Benton Bros are around you will have plenty of work fella, don't worry about that 🤔. Do you follow any wiring diagrams when building back up or is it all down from memory now ?
