    Hello Evan. I don't subscribe to your Bēhance page since I don't like recurring monthly debits. This however, is a great way from me to say thank you for all the education you have provided and how much it has helped me in my Ae and 3D journey. Have a wonderful vacation and I look forward to seeing you back online in the fall. All the best, and be well.

      If I could make a request for something in the future episodes; I would love to see a workflow that would allow me to create in Adobe Illustrator and export (SVG/Ai?) that can be opened in C4D Lite to turn it into a 3D object I can animate in Ae. Have a great day!

      Thank you so much! That is very generous of you! I'm always grateful that my work resonates with people and actually helps them. I'm not sure what the format will be like in the fall just yet on the Behance streams. But I'm sure it'll be good :)

      SVG import I'm not sure. But EPS and AI files should be available. I'll have to see what limits there are on C4d Lite specifically with vector importing. I know there were some changes to the prescribed method recently in the full license because of the new Vector Import object. The old method was that we had to save out .ai files in legacy format, back to illustrator 8, and merge that in. But I'll see what the current best practices might be. I'll make for a fun project either way!

    It hurts to be the one pointing out that knights and bishops are on the wrong squares...

    What's a good workflow between Blender 3.0+ and Cinema 4D Lite? Can I do most of my work in Blender and move it to After Effects for final rendering?

    • @ECAbrams
      @ECAbrams  Год назад +1

      Generally, we would output a .obj as the go-between. However, you should look into specific blander to Ae plugins for getting scene data from blender to Ae. I can't speak to them personally, but I know many options exist.

    It might be because it's half 1 in the morning - but do you explain how to make the board at any point?
    i've just arranged 64 squashed cubes (8 nulls each with 8 squashed cubes)

      Sadly because c4d lite doesn't have the Mograph cloner, we're limited in how we can speed up arrays and groups.

      @@ECAbrams Understandable, but sad. Maybe it's because as C4D lite seems wonderful, in the end it's pretty weak unfortunately, I've found already many lacking functions...

    I find your video way too fast. I know you are trying to make it short, but please, could you slow down a bit? even with replaying certain segments, I'm having a hard time following. Thank you
