    I absolutely love my Garmin Fenix 5X but being in the military, the majority of us will take a G-Shock on deployments. Battery life is amazing and you can’t break them.

    Thanks for the review. I'm a massive G-Shock fan and am very excited to get hold of one of these. Cheers!

    Best review I've seen. You literally answered all the questions I had about the watch! Is it still worth buying in 2022?

    I didn't get this watch at the time because until now I've had a Fitbit Ionic, but the best result ever is that Fitbit have pulled the Ionic and are refunding me!!! The GBD-H1000 is my very next watch. It's a Smart Watch, not a "smartwatch". It's the best choice for me as I currently have an 18 year old CASIO ProTrek and I'm hoping that this G-Shock will give me an equal amount of service 🙂

      I would say maybe stick with Fitbit Sense or whatever the latest they have. I have the Gshock and it's just an OK running watch. Notifications are so bad that it's worth turning them off. It takes almost 40 seconds to navigate to the menu that has them and you really can't interact with them. Basically the watch is a basic Casio with very limited HR and running features.

    Does GPS and HR monitor have to be turned on together? If you have HR monitor turned on without GPS all the time will it drain the battery??

    Thanks for the great review coach, guess this watch is more suitable for those GShox die hard fans (with the pricing that you can get other better options out there)

    I noticed with the larger screen is more prone to accidents mine took a shot to the middle of the screen and it cracked down the middle it has been at Casio for glass replacement since April.

    Not having a magnet to connect the charger is a massive positive for me. I was sick of that on the Fitbit Ionic. I have automatic watches, including a luxury watch and it meant that I couldn't wear the Fitbit at the same time.

    Nice review, thanks for that!! I have a Garmin Fenix 6X which I love and is, in my opinion way more practical and versatile in terms of softway and usage. But there is something that I just love about these G-shocks, so I order a GBD h1000 too. 😁⌚👍🏻

    how long in that environment Standalone (no pairing to Smartphone) can this watch run?

    Great video. Remember you cant compare it to a smartwatch...which it isnt. Regarding Casio manuals thickness. I can tell you aren't a Casio wearer because you would appreciate the GBD-H1000 manual pages compared to the Casio Mudmaster. lol.

    That struggle is user error I haven’t experienced that at all. Sorry and didn’t need the Manual for the watch, if your use to g shock before they are almost the same thing with time adjust and modes to navigate between setting the watch……

    • @philipbaldassini9528
      @philipbaldassini9528 3 года назад

      Sorry, i have to give a thumbs down. Seems you don’t wear a gshock a lot the HR sensor as an EMT it seem to be wicked accurate when i palpate the radial test with-in a few beats which isn’t that far off. As a normal runner it is wicked accurate….

    • @jacksonalmeida7311
      @jacksonalmeida7311 4 года назад

      That's weird, I am testing mine for 2 weeks now. Just charged on the first day so far and I have 4 bars right now (after 2 weeks). Heart rate all the time and running every other day...
      My only complaint is that the step count is not accurate, it counts even when I am not walking...

    This is why you dont buy crappy quailty Tesla, they are not a car company. They are not even at Toyota or Ford level when it comes to cars, for the price of a tesla, you should buy a Lexus, BMW or MBZ.
