Thanks for the detailed setup video. Just getting ready to head out to the campsite to set mine up for the first time. Just subbed to your channel. Thanks again from your average old Infantry First Sergeant.🇺🇸👍
Neighbor, " Ha ha ....... watch this. He is making another video. Time to fire up the lawn tractor and cut the front yard...he he he.Ok...he's done, shut er down. " Nice review. Love the tent. Semper Fi
Very nice👌🏻 I just bought a 12 man tent. Wish I would’ve seen this first 👌🏻 I like how the walls and ceilings just pop up like that👌🏻. I have a problem putting the rain top on as well. I’m 5’4 I normally throw something heavy tie it to the middle of the top and throw it over the top and hold onto the side where I’m at and that works well for me, thought I’d share.
The Velcro concerns me, can bugs get in through that (where you open it to put poles in? It’s one thing that’s causing me to not be sure of buying this. I’d like to buy a Kodiak tent but because it’s canvas I’m not sure it’s a good choice since I don’t have a yard/space to dry it out if it’s rained when camping and it would get ruined if stored wet.
I've got the same tent, same colour, yes you can pop the side out with poles or pulled out to the nearest tree with paracord. It's also easier if you put the fly sheet on before you pop the top.
The earth is not flat. I've never encountered a campsite big enough for a two man tent let alone a 2 room tent. That was a pretty good job for the first time though. Did it come with instructions?
We have the T4+ OE and have never had an issue finding space. Of course, there are spaces that are too small for the T4+, but we choose not to camp there. We also use a 10' x 10' canopy. Yes to the instructions, but as Dustin says, not really necessary to read!

I love it because it's just me and the wife so plenty of room. I'm getting better at the rainfly lol.

Guest. Do you think that you could pop up on of the side of the rain fly up on telescopic poles to give you and external sheltered area ?
I'm not sure. It prob wouldn't be much shelter if you did

It did. But like any red blooded male I didn't read them. Lol.

90 second set up that they claim? Yeah right!
Lol. Maybe once you get it all laid out and in position.
