I forgot to mention in this video that the quad remesher is only available on the ios version unfortunately

Really hope it's coming to android.

Yeah, that's a bummer. I do hope it's (ios only)existence doesn't affect any possible improvements to the built in remesher.

As it is a licencing issue with a third party I doubt it'll effect any vanilla nomad features, all though I only follow the development of nomad vaguely so wouldn't be an expert on the differences between Android and ios nomad

That’s really cool stuff. Thanks for the video

Thanks, I think we're just a couple apps away from a full workflow being available on a mobile device which is crazy!

@@takerefuge3d It really is. Also glad there's some competition now, it's been stale for a while now.

Absolutely I just want ap good polymodeling on iPad and a non subscription cad app, and a PBR texturing suite and were good to go!

the new quad remsh is only for ipad so didnt really see apart from the facegroups what was so nice about the android updates android is also copeing with a lot of bugs and crashes at random way more then the ipad till this is fixed android is still a mile behind the ipads

Yeah the problem isn't android per se, but there is 1 ios which makes easier to develop for and many, many forks of Android which makes it harder to track bugs on every device.
Im not big on brand loyalty and far from an apple guy, but I make an exception for the iPad pro.

@@takerefuge3d yeah the shear number of android devices out there and chips in them.
      It's a double edged sword.

does this fix jagged corners you often get when remeshing?

Depends on how you use it, it can be used as a part of many different workflows, but there's not a single band aid fix I tend to use quad remesher at the end of a model or as a way of iterating you may need to re sculpt or reproject details, as you will lose detail, fortunately nomad is pretty good at reprojecting
