    Man nomad sculpt has come a long way. The developer is an absolute madlad

      I know right! A couple years ago it would have been crazy to think of an iPad doing bakes

      @@SmallRobotStudio it still is crazy. I asked for UV support in the forums even the developer thought it would be impossible to implement easily and experimental support was already in the app just 2 months later. Its getting much much closer to an actual production ready app. Which is embarassing for maxon who still can't manage to compete with just 1 fucking guy after buying forger 😂

      ​@@Ben-rz9cf if it wasn't for nomad I would never have made the transition to 3D. I tried Blender, zbrush, 3d coat Maya. Tried them all multiple times and could never ever stick to them, they were overly complicated and boring. I used to dread turning my computer on.
      Within a week I was making stuff on Nomad, I had never even used an iPad before. I look forward to creating on it every day!!
      The money I spent out on just tutorials for the other software cost more than the Nomad app!!!! How is that even possible. I love Nomad Sculpt so much I am sooooo grateful for this software!

    Amazing video Erica, Btw there's a better option to UV unwrap: Go to Settings > Debug Menu > Turn on "Add BFF UV's". Its pretty better and clean then normal Auto-UV Unwrap (But as its a Debug Feature, sometimes it can have bugs or sometimes it may not work properly as intended.)

      Thanks for the tip! I experimented with it a bit and it was a bit wild. I think it prefers simpler geometry or more hard surface objects. I'll play with it more and include it in a future video :)

      The RUclips says that I already watched this video in the past, probably in the beginning of learning Nomad Sculpt since this channel was the first place that I went to.
      Now months later, I just understood recently what "normal" is. 😂😂

    Great videos! It's ok that you always remind us that Nomad is a poor man's tool and not production ready but you should also mention how expensive it is to use Maya, Adobe (Substance) or any Pro subscription base software. For many of us, it is so NOT worth it.. specially if you can use Blender for free to build decent UV's .

    I got an problem with exporting my mesh from nomad, whenever I retypo everything in CozyBlanket afterwards, and then put it into nomad to multires and give it a texture / bake it, after I export it it always exports it with extra lines in the middle of the cubes, even when I don’t even use multires and just export it the same way I imported it, for some reason nomad always gives it extra lines in the middle and changes it so it’s un animateable in blender, I wonder how to fix it / how to make it that I don’t have to go into nomad to give it textures? Since the Procreate textures i don’t like the way of painting there etc at all.

      There's already a video on how to make a body base mesh. It's using realistic human proportions but you can adapt it to any style!
