Rip dean a very charming characther loved his tv movies sir rembered forever by me
Lovely speech. R.I.P Dean Stockwell. Loved every moment of your screen time on Quantum Leap. I loved how your character was so great with kids, but that was you as an actor that brought that. The story between Al and his wife Beth - M.I.A was my very favourite. It was perfect. Thank you Al - I mean Mr Stockwell. Be proud always. 💙
Well earned and deserved. Great Actor.
Lovely humble speech
Dean was my favorite part of quantum leap
mine too. loved Al.
Agree
Me, too! No offense to Scott Bakula, but my first cinematic crush was Dean Stockwell. I saw Anchors Aweigh when I was six (1980) and have been enamored ever since.
Hot Take: I was actually pretty pissed at Scott for doing a Quantum Leap sketch with Stephen Colbert in 2016. Dean wasn’t available, sadly due to suffering from multiple strokes, so Stephen wrongfully stepped into his shoes!
Nether of them even *mentioned* Dean during the whole damn thing. I hate to admit this, but I’ve never looked at Scott the same way since.
@@Lesley_RedRhody i started watching quantum leap as a teen was amazed how dean started in showbiz very young scott as sam was so boring .at the time mom of course knew who dean was would always say he's stockedwell 😉 .i'm rewatching quantum leap for #3 time the whole making what was once wrong i like and al dean is why i watch .i've been watching deans stuff ( the ones i can find ) he was a stinking cutie , very handsome young man and hot looking man .i've watched married to the mob don't know how many times .
I have a crush on the character of Al Calavicci. I have been writing a Quantum Leap fan fiction.
Dean had one helluva career! Child actor to Al Calavicci. Al's one of my all time favorite tv characters and that's thanks to Dean's lovable, hilarious and poignant performance. Rest easy, Al old buddy.
R.I.P dean, ziggi is waiting for you
this man is true hero a legend
The man radiates cool!
Both men deserve awards for good and what looked like hard work that they loved and it was done well
I love that he thanked his mother. Based on what I've read, that seems to be what determines if a child star grows up into a well-adjusted adult: a strong mother figure.🤱
Not just child stars or celebs but any child in general .
When he said '2 most important women in my life' and started with mother, for a moment I thought he was going to say the other one was his mother in law.
@@dfangirl72true but child actors have higher odds of addiction, depression, etc. Dean has credited his mother as the reason he survived child stardom and the transition to a. Adult actor
What a sweetheart of a man.
They should have bought Sam home.
I adore him. He is so fucking suave.
Allison Halpin hell yessss too hawt
He's so different from Al on quantum leap. I'm so used to seeing him as Al.
Well deserved...great show !
I've always been smitten with just how adorably fidgety Dean is. He's a Fucking Suave, soft-spoken, appreciative, humble gentleman whose career is deserving of many more accolades than the idiots of Hollywood have awarded him. A LOT more!
I've been fidgety for yrs can't go out to eat without extra phone to keep my hands and eyes " centered " didn't realize that's what it was til I read your comment about this adorable man being fidgety .
@@dfangirl72 I’ve always been fascinated by communication, both verbal and nonverbal. I have a tendency to “leg-bounce” or play with the collar on my shirts and jackets. 😁
@@Lesley_RedRhody i have coloring books like " psychedelic " i color in while watching tv to keep my hands busy .
☆☆Dean Stockwell☆☆
great in blue velvet
R I.P. Dean Stockwell & Larry Drake
anyone else notice how similar johnny depp's Jack Sparrow resembles Dean Stockwells AMAZING performance as AL? pretty sure this is where johnny depp got alot of the character from....just added a drunken pirate twist.
ktx49 hmmm lol
RIP
i wonder if they knew back then that he is a cylon
Sue-Ellen and Val Ewing, sisters-in-laws at the GGs

Corky!!!

He went 2 mins. too long.
This man destroyed Quantum leap. Every time he opened his mouth, he had something rude or off color to say. And still today his comments and quotes are laced with F bombs. I didn't play this video, cuz he's probably going to open his mouth and filth will spew forth. In life I distance myself from people like this.
??????? I have never seen anything like you're describing. Occasionally he says the F bomb...but he's far from being the only one. He's direct and to the point. That doesn't make him rude. It just makes him a man of few words. He hasn't been in good health in recent years so he hasn't done any interviews nor done any acting since 2015. So nothing recently. The character Al is part of what made Quantum Leap so great. Not sure where you're getting your information.
P.S. He is very humble and appreciative during this acceptance speech. He gives thanks to a long list of people, including his mom, his wife at the time Joy, and Scott Bakula. He's very humble and down-to-earth. Perhaps you should give it a watch. You might be pleasantly surprised.
Are you talking about how the character Al was written by the actors
Could be you have a stick up your rear end take it out it's a diamond .you don't like the truth .
You're one sick bastard. You should be ashamed of yourself.
😂😂😂😂 you clown
