David Addison and John McClane will always be Bruce's best and most endearing roles. They showed how great an actor he truly is unlike all the other stiff, stoic and one dimensional roles Hollywood has stuck him with the last 30 odd years.

Never got addicted to a show like MOONLIGHTING. The writers were funny & dramatic. Willis & Shepherd were David & Maddie. Its 2019, I own the series and every few years go back and watch the very best creative show. The black & white & Maddie gets scrooged episodes among the best. The dialog rapid fire then suddenly emotional crossfire is legendary. Just a magnificent show. MOONLIGHTING.

Sorry but Bruce was being PC for them. It’s now been stated by the creator and even Bruce somewhat that majority of the time, Bruce and Cybill argued and did not get along. There’s nothing wrong with that. They were coworkers not friends as it was a job. The creator said as much of a hit every knew they had-Cybill grew increasingly frustrated with the long hours. He said he doesn’t think she realized how tight the schedule was due to the fact that Maddie and David were in nearly every scene. So that added to tension as well as the fact that Bruce garnered more attention and accolades. She was the name and he was the newbie and he started to overshadow her. The good news is, when they yelled action-magic happened because Bruce and Cybill were lightning in a bottle. BTW, for the first time ever, Moonlighting will stream on Hulu starting 10/10/23!!! Looking forward to the first 3 seasons lol. Quality started to dip after that.
