I don't know if you are still close to Jalisco, but you could go to small pueblo, called tequila where the drink came from, there is a train tour to a tequila hacienda, you could also visit some small circular pyramids called guachimontones near the city, or visit Chapala and Ajijic, many retired ex-pats live in those places, and of course visiting Puerto Vallarta

Another great video guys! Tortas ahogadas can vary widely depending on where you get them from (there are ones with delicious fish “carnitas” and cream-based sauces, for example, as well as ones that definitely pack more of a kick). Try a few more before you leave Jalisco! If you come to Chapala/Ajijic feel free to reach out - it’s a sort of surreal experience with the amount of gringos here, but we’ve found our own niche for the time we’ve been in Chapala. Thanks again for all the great content. ❤

  • @jalatlaco9827

Great video! But something to consider; IMO we shouldn't bargain like this. The $100 pesos discount you asked for is equivalent to $5 right now. At the end of your vacation would this $5 (even if you bargained 20 times) make a big difference in your life? Your hotel is currently over $200 a night, your flights were likely almost $1000. But to that vendor a $100 peso loss could mean the difference between eating and getting needed meds for a family member. I never bargain in Central America. Just my 2 pesos.
