😂 A well-known problem
Hope the world will pronounce it properly in 2020s😎

Thanks, Ariful :)
Brother I'm beginner in this sector, how can I find the best keywords with ahrefs, for ranking first page?
I recommend watching this series: ruclips.net/video/3zLBu_NfOaQ/видео.html
Sam is there a reason we don't see Ahref case studies of how Ahref's helped Client X go from 100 to 1000 hits in 4 months or whatever. Are clients too secretive to want to show they ponied up for competitive advantage or what?
Good question! We might come up with some case studies like that in future.
Like I tell the others (newbies & old timers) Ahrefs one tool you need and will help you grow your blog period!!
Thanks, Bostjan :) Glad you're finding our tools indispensable 😀
what's your blog? what u blog about?
ahrefs.com/blog/
I have blogs in different niches
I love ahrefs. No SEO tool can do what you are capable of and if you reduce your price then maybe no keyword on Google left with low keyword difficulty because Everyone become a blogger. unfortunately, I did not afford Ahrefs 😢.
You will make it one day. Good luck with your blogging ;)

Thanks for the video. I noticed that with the keyword iphone ( as in your example ) i have a total of 7'079,349 results, but when i use filter KD max =100 i just got 374,189 results . This means that the is no KD data defined for the rest of the results ( 7'079,349 - 374,189=6'705,160 ) that is the 94% of the data available does not have KD. So, If i want to take a decision filtering KD i am only taking a decision using just 6% of the data that contains KD. Is my understanding that you can use credits on your account to get the remaining KD data. Is there a better way for using the majority of the data ( 7 billions..) than just using the amount of credits in your account and be confident the decisions are made on the majority of data available and just a very small fraction? Thanks
Good question Alex. Correct, some of the keywords don't have a KD score by default. You can see these keywords by sorting the data in ascending order. What you'll find is that these also have extremely low search volume and are usually a part of a long-tail topic (ex. "iphone calendar not syncing with outlook calendar 2010" falls).
We don't calculate KD for these so called "unpopular keywords," which you would have to manually check. The 94% you mentioned is close to what our data shows from our long tail keywords study. We found that 92.42% of keywords get ten searches per month or fewer (based on 1.9 billion keywords studied). Rather than looking at these topics with little to no traffic, I recommend watching our long tail keywords video which should be helpful.

@@AhrefsCom Thanks for your rapid response. I watched the video several times , very detailed and actionable. However, it is based on the filter of KD. I am interested in topical long tale key word because i want to build a site and i do not have any authority, these are the perfect for me. Ahrefs has been very clear that volumes should not be used entirely for key word research but many other factors too. So If should not use only volumes , and data without KD had not other data than volumes then how i should take a decision based on a result that only contains 4% to 8% of the data? In addition what is the point of have a database of 7 billion keywords if i can only use a max of 8%. ? Sorry i am missing something , still do not get it. Thanks again
Sam, it’s Gold
Thanks, Jenya!
i love Ahrefs although i used SemRush Moz as well and those tools are also very good but when it comes to Ahrefs
Each tool uses a different method to calculate keyword difficulty. I can't speak for other tools, but we primarily use referring domains. We recommend using KD as a quick way to eyeball difficulty of a term, especially if you're using the phrase match reports, and to manually review difficulty individually based on other factors. Here's a video on this: ruclips.net/video/jSOq3ysvBk8/видео.html
What makes you think that another tool is more "accurate" than the next? No tool can accurately measure a keyword's difficulty based on a 1-3 digit number. Different queries produce different SERPs. Here are a few examples:
1. "best restaurants" is a local query so "keyword difficulty" should be different for different IPs/locations
2. "how to do keyword research" has very clear search intent. Likely going to be difficult so KD I'm guessing would be somewhat similar in other tools.
3. "cars" - has an unclear search intent. So it would be highly volatile so KD would likely change frequently.
Bottomline, I wouldn't focus too much on KD as a definitive answer to whether a topic is worth targeting.
Hi Sam,
Thank you for the video
you are super "Sam-Seo-Man"
Thanks, Alexandr :) Glad you enjoyed our video.
ahrefs is Incredible 😎
Thanks, Shahin :)
Hey Sam, can you give me some guidance. I need to setup email accounts for clients to claim their citations, however, many places always want Emil or phone verification. I setup emails on my domain but I feel that's not a good way to go. How can I do this?
Ask your client for an email account if you need an email on their domain.
Hi Sam does bounce rate play any role in today's seo???
I'm afraid we can't give a definitive answer on this as we do not have conclusive evidence to suggest that it does.
sam , what do you use for editing ?
Premiere and After Effects for the most part.
excited with the youtube, thank you for hearing my last comment
You're welcome! Love getting feedback from everyone in our community :)
@@AhrefsCom I am struggling to grow my channel and this is what I have been waiting, youtube seo

Make video on affiliate marketing keyword research
Might be a good topic for one of the future videos. Need to get some expertise to share some proven valuable content, so I am not sure when we can publish something like that.

sir, can we purchase permanently Ahrefs? how many costs are there for
Our pricing plans are based on a monthly or annual basis. We do not have a "one-time" purchase option.
How ahreaf know what people searching on google
#4 Bingo
An awesome extra layer to add to your keyword research, right? 😀
The content explorer don't have geographic filter?
There's a language filter if that's what you're talking about?
@@AhrefsCom No, because there are allot of English speaking countries that the differences are significant
There isn't a way to separate the web pages by geographic location. For example, someone from the UK could host a website in the US, but write in British English, which wouldn't make sense to create filter for.
Lol how irony your name is Sam( reminds me of semrush) who owns ahref
Thank you for watching the video, Diwakar. I am not sure I got your question, can you please specify?
¿Tienen contenido en español?
We're working on translating our content to Spanish :)
@@AhrefsCom Gracias por la respuesta. Me podrían informar cuándo ya tengan el contenido en español gracias
ahrefs is too expensive
In comparison to?
How much they charge bc I'm paying semrush $100 a month and got nowhere far as seo or even know what to do far as seo with the data that's crawled in the software...
Our plans start at $99/month and have further discounts for annual plans. You can check out our pricing plans at ahrefs.com/pricing
ahrefs: *tells you how to take over the Internet*
you: meh, too expensive
😂
excellent. Just learn how to pronounce the word "niche" properly and then you will have some REAL credibility. Hint...you say: "neesh"....not "nitch".
I actually say both :) When I speak with people, I'll normally say "neesh." For our videos, I say "nitch." Maybe I'll mix it up.
